Anyone have a chance to beat Fairland this season?

Of course on any given night, but really I only see Ironton and possibly South Point if they get a hot hand. Fairland is big and fast with shooters. That being said, they are only an injury to Vanhorn away from being a better than average team. Fairland has a rugged nonleague schedule that will test them. I have seen teams schedule like this and they take league games as not real important. Keeping focus will be the Dragon's main threat.

South point over Coal Grove by 9.....South Point struggled early on without their Starting point Guard out sick.. Getting down 16 points midway through the 2nd quarter before closing the gap to 8 at halftime....2nd half was all SP......

South Point @ Chesapeake Friday. Should be a big pointer crowd. Panthers still searching for their first win while South Point is still undefeated. Think this could be closer than some may believe. SP 52 Peake 41

BBN could be right or close with his score on the SP game. Peake still hungry for a win and being at home helps them. I believe Coach Davis will have something up his sleeve defensively for the pointers to have to counteract which could slow the pace. This one comes down to how well SP defends and if they can force the panthers into bad shot selection and force turnovers much the way the did against CG in the 2nd half Tuesday night. I'll say Peake hangs around for 3 quarters but doesn't have enough firepower in the end. SP 61 Peake 43

The interesting matchup to move on Friday night is Ironton traveling to Fairland. Ironton can bring a physicality to that game that Fairland may not like. Tigers don't have the depth that the dragons possess but if they can play a slower paced game and play methodical the way Coach Lafon wants it they can hang around I believe. I believe Fairland wins but not by a huge margin. Fairland 66 Ironton 56

I agree with you on the scores of the last two games. But I see Fairland winning by more, even though I won't be surprised if it's in the park of your prediction. In the past the refs have always called it touchy in Fairland and that hurts Ironton. I'll say 78-57

Anyone know if Adams kid is back with SP on Friday? He was sorely missed in the game with the Grove, but the Fox kid stepped big in the second half of the game. Ironton vs. Fairland should be a good matchup, although it is Fairland's game to lose.

Nevermind heard Adams will be out for a couple of weeks, had his appendix removed with a surgery. Tough break for the Pointers.
