Is that not the funniest picture? She is only 4' 11" and he is over 7 foot. It is one of my favorites. She said when she gets a break in all the excitement she will post, but they are keeping her phone ringing non stop and at least half of Jackson High School has been at her house. She told me to thank all of you for the great comments.

Thank you moose, she does kind of compliment me...........NOT!!!! She is my little doll baby. I'm so proud of her. This has really been her year. She is the senior class president, the captain of the varsity cheerleading squad, and now Apple Festival Queen.

I guess i never noticed i had so many fans untill now! and im soo glad that i do i really appreciate everyone and all the support it means alot to me! My publicity manager sure has been getting the word out.. haha but what would i do without her!!! Shes one proud grandma and i wouldnt have it any other way!!

May 9th will be the first festival and parade for her. It is the Wild Turkey Festival in McArthur. So far they have 15 festivals scheduled, Two the weekend of Graduation. We are having a combined party for all three of my grandkids who are graduating that weekend and it looks like she is going to miss most if not all of that and she is one of the ones graduating.

We took cheergurl shopping yesterday, for a red gown which she needs for some of the parades. They cut enough off the bottom of it to make another small dress. She sure looks cute in it. We shopped at the Ritz in Portsmouth. They have about the largest variety of gowns that I have seen in this whole area. That is where she got her jewelery for the pageant and also where she got her prom dress.

I'll try to send them to you the first of the week. Their prom is tonight and I must say, all three of my grandkids clean up pretty good. I went to the walk through and left after the first 125 couples. Thank God all three of them was in that group. There was still twice as many lined up to walk through when I left. The prom will be over by the time the last couple is announced.

Cheergurl had her first parade last weekend at the Wild Turkey Festival in Vinton County. She had a ball. Next weekend is a big weekend for her. She graduates Friday night and then has a parade in Chillicothe on Saturday for the Feast Of The Flowering Moon. Sunday she has a parade in Oak Hill for the Festival Of Flags plus her graduation party.
