Question for AAU Parents
Somebody ask me and I don't know the answer. Why do you pay to play AAU and then not attend any AAU tournaments. Why not just play to play in the other tournaments.

Re: Question for AAU Parents
im sure somebody knows better but here is my take.
1- its only ten bucks for a child to get his/her aau card
2- there are some insurance benefits included with that card i believe
3- if you want to win state or go to nationals, you have to be registered.
lets face it, saying your an aau state champ is alot different than saying you're a gba or oyba champ. its kinda like comparing ncaa d1 to maybe d3 or naia.

Which AAU organization does not participate in AAU tournaments? WV Thunder, Team Ohio and Southern Ohio Magic all participate in several AAU tournaments. Which organization are you refering to?
