Big ups to both these young men. They are quite deserving. If I'm not mistaken, they are the only two from the southeast district to be recognized. Seems alittle odd given the talent down here. Pick me out a couple of good games to come down for vols fan. Also how about an update on Brandon. Tell him I was asking about him. Thanks.

highandtight, we play Valley at home Friday, Zane Trace and Ports Sat at home, Minford at Minford on Wed 15th, Alexander on the 18th at Alexander, Waverly the 22nd at home, so those should be pretty good games coming up. Bryan is absolutely crushing the ball right now. Last night, he hit a laser first time up and third time up, a bomb that I think was the farthest ball I have ever seen go out. Cracked his bat so hard telling how far it would have gone if he hadn't cracked the bat. As for Brandon he is doing well, catching and playing LF, hitting in the two hole and hitting well. He just wants some W's! I tell him they will come just be patient. He plays in Athens next weekend, so nice being close to home. I'll tell him you were asking. Both are doing well in school and making the grades. Hope your family is doing well, and hope to see you soon at a game.

Congrats and well-deserving to both young men.
I agree volsfan on that second homerun. He absolutely crushed that ball and with a cracked bat.
Good luck to both this upcoming season.

Catch... Rumor has it Marietta but not 100%. Great opportunity to play as a freshman and win a national championship to boot. Ashland U and WV State are in the running as well. All are very good programs and have strong academics. All need outfielders as well. At this point just waiting on final $ numbers.
Gasser from Indian Valley is pitching for Marietta this season and also Fullen from Westfall is there as well.
Still some D1 interest from several schools but is based upon $, roster size and MLB draft.

Thanks for the update. I played against the schools mentioned a couple of times each and all are good choices. The Etta Express, as you said gives a great chance of winning, they're always there.
I'm sure things will fall into place, he just needs to play his game and it will all work out. Aaron and Bryan both are great players as well as people and I'm very happy for the both of them.
See you all soon.

It is my understanding, and someone can correct me if they know different, but it is just the opinion of the Buckeye Scout owner, and I know for a fact he goes to hundreds of games year after year and watches players himself. You do not have to go to the Buckeye Scout Showcase, or Tournament, as both my boys made the list and have never attended anything with the Buckeye Scout. It is not a requirement as some may think. Basically, it is just a collective opinion on players that they have watched over the years at various games.
