You are probably right coach Lockhart will be asked to coach the Jv again, but who will be the new varsity coach?

I had heard from a good reliable source that you are correct about the JV job.

Heard from a very reliable source that there hasn't been any interviews yet.Everything is on hold. They are waiting to see if a teaching job will occur.

what makes you think they are interviewing, again. Maybe they have their guy all picked out, and posted a teaching job today, so that they can hire this person on July 8th, maybe?

When was he the AD there? Brian Rau was the AD this year and don't believe he was an assistant. Who were Mike Kennedy's assistants? Marty Adams and who else? I am drawing a blank......

Stupid hire I heard the only thing this guy has coached is Jr. High. I hope the school got who they wanted cause this year is going to be a waste. Manchester will be lucky to win 8 games with this guy coaching I am a huge fan and I don't know if I'll go to a game this year or not with this stupid move that they made.

Best of luck. Give the guy a chance, you know the students once hung Dean Smith in effigy.

Why is this a done hire? I wish him best of luck and if you are a loyal fan then it won't matter.

Well I think you have to give the man a chance. He does have a good team coming back. I feel for the kids with everything they have gone threw. We went threw the same thing last season. But those are good kids and they will make it threw this. Just keep your heads up Greyhounds fans and keep supporting your team.

There was a change at the board Meeting last night at Manchester high school. Jamie Wilkins was scheduled to be hired as head boys basketball coach, before the board went to executive session last night, but after form what I have heard to be a very truthful and noble speech by last year's assistant coach Aaron Lockhart. The board went against the Supers recomendation and hired coach Lockhart. Good Luck!!!!

And maybe Houndsare4real won't have such sour grapes, and come see a game next year.

I WILL BE @ EVERY GAME NEXT YEAR.

I will say that coach Lockhart will probably lead the boys to a 15-5 record next year.

Does anybody have a schedule for next season. I would like to see it before I make any predictions of a new coach after losing a 1000 point scorer is projected to go 15-5.

No pressure coach!!

I don't think that the 1000 point scorer was the best player on the team, but thats just what I think. They have 3 starters coming back and 2 of them have played since they were Freshmen if im not mistaken, but anyway good luck to coach Lockhart and the Hounds this year.

I know they played Western @ home the first game of them year then West Union and then Whiteoak. I know they go to Ironton to play Ironton St. Joe in the Ironton Classic, then I also think they play Ironton again and South Point.

I think that Coach Lockhart will have a very good year I think that Coach Lockhart will need to hire a very good staff which will benefit him in the years to come I really think that Coach Lockhart is going to be at Manchester for a wile even threw tough time. Its good to see some one come threw the program as Coach Lockhart has and get a shoot at the Head coaching job.
Good Luck to Coach Lockhart and the Hounds

Good luck going 15-5. I wasent very impressed with the way they played in the preview loss to Ripley. They will probably come in 3rd in the small division behind Peebles and Whiteoak
