This is where the athletic complex entrance beam came from. Who remembers it?

Place looks great thus far, cant wait to get up there to see a game. I hope the stands are fairly close to the field. I'm old and dont see to well so I prefer to be closer to the action. Besides I think it makes it more exciting for fans to be close enough to not only see the action more clearly but to hear and feel the action. Once again though, place looks awesome so far.

you should be able to see pretty good, there will not be a track around the field.

the seating will be arond 5,000, plus how ever many the levee will hold, I heard around 1,000 on the levee.

No one answered my question up above. Who do the Trojans play there first home game agianst in the new stadium? I think it should be either Ironton , Burg or West. Probably there three biggest rivals in that order.

I think the first home game will be week 2 against West. It's kind of funny they get to help us open up our new stadium much like we help them open theirs in 2002. Hopefully the result will be the same for the Trojans as it was then.

All I can say is "WOW!" This place is going to rival or even beat Jackson's Alumni Stadium. I wish I was a HS kid again playing sports. This is going to be a great facility to play in!

If I was the AD at PHS I'd definitely make Ironton the first game in the new stadium. One of the oldest rivalries in the state NOT being the first game? Has to be. Come on guys...make it happen. What a crowd that would bring in!!

We may see just how many people the new place can really hold that first weekend. I know the numbers for the bleachers, and the levy, but we might see even more then that for a cross town rivalry on a Saturday night. If not maybe we can play ourselves into a home playoff game. ;-)

Or maybe host a d5 regional championship between West and the Burg.
