Re: huntington football
The "streak" during the 80's was an ugly thing to watch. Eventually a class of athletes came along and brought excitement to the program. Hopefully another class will come along to end this streak also. Keep working hard and stick by a coach so that they aren't trying to learn a new system every other year.

Hopefully the coach can, over the winter and spring, can find more kids to play for him. It is a great idea to watch kids in other sports and to evaluate their talents and try to see where they can fit in on a football team, if anywhere. We all know that over the past few seasons the football program has been, well, not up to par. I would really like to see them start doing better, and I think they started to process of getting better by hiring a new coach. Sure, this year hasn't looked good for him, but if he really wants to win some games for this club then he will go get kids from other sports and try to get the community involved and revolved around the team. I think Burg does a great job with the community and look at what they have there.
It will be hard for the new coach, but no one ever said it will be easy. I really hope he can get this team turned around within the next few seasons.

and anyone who does not think they are getting the benifits of his dad are crazy, you know as well as I do he is talking strategy with Big Bart. Hell they are probably watcing tapes together. so really untington is getting the benifit of 2 coaches for the price of one.
