Wheelersburg boys won their division. I should get typed up what I have by late tonight BUT I don't have all the results for the girls (missing two events). They usually divide Division II and Division III for seperate trophies. I don't know the high point medallists either. I expect that Erica Schmidt took it in the girls with 36 points but I don't know about the boys.

Oak Hill girls 4x400 ran a 1:40....impressive!

That should beat the world record by about a minute and 30 seconds.

I'll guess they meant 4:40...which is solid for high school girls.

The official results had them with 4:41. Apparently they transposed two numbers when they typed it up in your paper.

But that reminds me to mention to all timers that hand times (what is used through out almost all of southeast Ohio) should be recorded to the tenth. They should never be rounding to the second or to the 100th. If the time on the stopwatch has anything higher than 0 listed in the 100th slot, the time is rounded up to the next tenth. ie 4:40.82 becomes 4:40.9.

Especially when they have different heats, it can tie people incorrectly when rounding to the second. Or they don't tie people who should be tied by considering the 100ths. ie in the 200m in heat 1 a runner turns ina 28.15 and in heat 2 a runner turns in 28.13, in both cases it is 28.2 and they are tied. If they are in the same heat, they are placed by the finish line official as to who won. But if they rounded a 28.93 and a 28.77 to 29 seconds and tied them that would be incorrect. I have seen both types of mistakes made.

Is Royster from Portsmouth injured? I don't see him in the results.
