Where do they get these guys? That play late in the 4th where Shears threw the ball 40 yards from the closest pirate and they weren't gonna call grounding until our coach goes bezerk. It's either one of two things, their either incompetent or cheaters.

2nd half, the Burg had 4th and a mile and were stuffed. A dead ball personal foul call gave the Burg an automatic first down. What was the personal foul?

Chances are they're gonna meet again. We can only hope.

Funny you say that, because when Valley was DOMINATING the West line, people said the same thing leading up to the game...Valley will be waiting (again)...but I would worry about Nelsonville York first.
This is a different team. Just look at the way they both played Burg. Valley played them till the end and West dominated them in every aspect of the game. The way West was playing tonight, they could've easily taken Valley. It just depends on how each team plays.
Easily? Why didnt they do that 2 weeks ago? Valley being undefeated wasnt enough? League title on the line not enough? Valley not a worthy enough opponent to "get up" for?

MAYBE West saw the Valley-Burg film and knew how to gameplan for Shears run right, Shears run middle, Shears run left, I mean maybe, but who knows.

Leading up to the game, West was too physical, too tough, too mean, and when Valley smacked them in the mouth, they didnt know how to respond.

I'm looking FORWARD to Valley-West #2...I'm sure the Valley kids are too. MAYBE if they get to play again, Valley can stay within 20...

I wonder if this was the same crew that did the Valley/Burg game last week at Ed Miller Stadium?

I would love to see a rematch as well!!! I wish Valley the best of luck and hope we both make it far enough in, to meet one more time. Either outcome, I hope we have a Scioto County team playing for a State Title!!!

On a side note...the last time we made a good drive into the playoffs we got to revenge our only losses from that season! ROLL SIDE!!!

Well...besides the last one!

I watched both games. At Valley, their heads weren't in the game. Tonight, they were. What I'm saying is that if they would play this way against Valley, they could beat them. I shouldn't have said "easily", cause it would be a heck of a game. But I honestly believe that if they play again, West will come out on top.

well regardless of what either side thinks....a rematch will only happen if both teams win in the playoffs. no use crying over whether we had our heads in the game against valley and the fact that we played great tonight against burg. the fact is, we didn't have it all together against valley, they did...we lost. let's move on! if we want that revenge...then let's WIN the next few weeks of football and get the rematch.

It would be a good game. From the numbers, for us to play it would about have to be a regional final. Would be tough for 1 team to get there, let alone both.

Why are you guys complaining, there wasn't any bad calls in this game, and on a couple occasions could have thrown a flag for unsportsman like but didn't, plus its different when its your call and your whistle, You guys know so much take your test and lets see how good you guys are.

   Stay within 20? WOW I guess we were at 2 different games that night. Valley played the game of there lives that night and West didn’t...and btw you say we have to get passed NY, well you also need to win, so don’t look to far ahead! I know before the Valley game we were all hoisting that Gold Football over our heads and you seen our let down! I really hope the rematch happens, but I really doubt it!
Valley’s Playoff record isn’t very attractive! Good Luck Though....! :122249[/quote]

I know they haven't played in a state title game, but they also didn't have 264 yds of personal fouls in that game!
Pleez just when you think West posters shed their reputation ----> REALITY
