Re: Oak Hill Invitational
I am not sure what official you talked to, but they were never timing lanes.

Coach Ruby is an improvement over the cartel that's been running it for the last several years.
Then again, a drunken chimp would be.
That said, Kristen is okay in my book.

Re: Oak Hill Invitational
Every meet has its problems. No exceptions. There are so many events to run and it takes a lot of experienced people to do it right. Oak Hill had pretty much quit running track meets until just a few years ago and they don't have a ton of experience to draw on but it will get better.
There is always more officials at the districts and that should cut down on some of the problems. And FAT timing will be greatly appreciated. The Southeast has needed to catch up with the rest of the state on this technology. Most districts have had it for a decade.
On the plus side, the Oak Hill hurdle crew was quite effective and polite.

Dr. Rabbit, thanks for the comment on the hurdle crew. We look forward to seeing you again at the district.

Why is Jon Royster from Portsmouth not on here? Did his coaches rest him up instead? Kid was like lightening in a bottle last year.

I've been wondering about Royster too. Don't have anything on him or Minnick from Zanesville and also Dunfee from Warren.Three of the top sprinters in the league.

Pulled hamstring.
Re: Oak Hill Invitational
That is not good news for the young sprinter. I remember last year when Justin Hoffman was the favorite in the SVC in all the sprints, and he pulled his hamstring during his indoor season. He was still able to run later on, but he was not the same sprinter that he previously was. Best of luck goes out to Royster.
