Re: What about a route 23 League ????????
Hamilton Twshp 365 boys, 331 girls
Teays Valley 482 boys, 402 Girls
Chillicothe 335 Boys, 361 Girls
Circleville 283 Boys, 288 Girls
Unioto 228 Boys, 221 Girls
Waverly 253 Boys, 285 Girls
Piketon 216 Boys, 196 Girls
Valley 178 Boys, 124 Girls
Portsmouth 195 Boys, 194 Girls
Throw in ZT and you would have
ZT 208 Boys, 203 Girls
You could have a north and south
North- Hamilton, Teays, Circleville, Chillicothe, Unioto or put Waverly here and Unioto in the South.
South- Portsmouth, Valley, Piketon, Waverly, ZT
It wont happen, but it is fun to play around with! lol
Portsmouth would love it, longest trip, ZT 45 minutes.
You could create two rivalry games between divisions, example Portsmouth versus Chillcothe and either Unioto or Waverly depending on the division. That would give you 7 football league games, and 14 basketball league games.

2. Why is it assumed that ANY of these schools are unhappy in their current affiliations?
3. One of the reasons schools cite as reasons for looking elsewhere is travel distance and cost. Your alignment is around 90+ miles from Hamilton Twp (extreme north) to Valley (extreme south). Valley is currently in what is basically a one county league. What would they gain from the change?
4. Is Chillicothe so unhappy in the SEOAL that they feel the need to continually look elsewhere? I know with the exception of boys basketball they havent dominated the league like they thought they would when they came down to the SEOAL from the OCC, but hang in there. IMO Chillicothe is the primo coaching gig in the league and things are only going to get better across the board for them.
I gotta agree with you 4ever. Its like these league scenarios are pulled out of a mad lib book. "What about a ______ league?" and every week they change the blank. Personally im waiting for the Busch league topic to come around before i make an immediate impact on the league orginization, situation.
