Lets seriously not forget about New Bostons freshmen. Shane Buckley looks like he is going to b a stud. He's quick, good ball handler, and an exceptional shooter. The only negative is his size which he is a Freshman, he'll grow. The most impressive thing about Buckley is his basketball IQ at such a young age. He knows exactly what to do with the ball. Leak out off a miss, get his hands on the ball, get it down court, find the open man. He makes it look simple.

I agree...with the right coach and not everything being put on him he will be good.

another that will be good is Toleman from Notre Dame, still wish he was at east

Tartan,

Who is the freshman from East? What position does he play?

Thanks.
Oh I'm pretty sure the coach will keep him in check. I think he has matured alot this year. I look for JC to help the Tartans this year.

Let's not forget the freshman from ND. The only game they lost their 8th grade year was to Eastern at the beginning of the year. Then came back and beat Eastern at their place. Lewis, Mader, and Milani will all make impacts to their team. Also it helps when you have Coach Mader who they have been coached by for 4+ years to get the offense rolling.

no one gives ironton any credit. and no i am not from ironton im from waverly. they are phenominal there are many freshman seen to make som noise including zac carter ironton had a scrimage tonight against northwest and symmes valley and he hit a buzzer beater from about 5 feet behind half court along with probably 10-15 points. he is the best freshman in the area.some are still playing football but they will be good also.the second best at ironton is trey fletcher he is about 6'3'' and plays like a gaurd. the others include trevor white, nick culbertson and a transfer from coal grove whos name is tanner dutey.a great player in dion brown blew out his knee in football but watch for him next year he is also very good.the freshman group went undefeated in junior high both years blowing teams out byb 40+.

No problem, but I heard they have 4 or 5 players that could dunk the ball in 8th grade? Is this true?
