Not really sure if he is out for the year or fine...I know he set out of the minford scrimage but there were quite a few out for that as well....I think I counted 9 total

Afraid I have to agree with U but East is playing mostly sophomores and juniors.NW might beat East but won't do too much against the rest of SOC 2 teams I am afraid.

This games outcome will depend on the health of East I believe. If they have as many people out as they did against Minford the are going to have a hard time but if their healthy I see them being to quick and athletic for Northwest to handle. Too bad high school teams dont release an injury report th day before the game.

Could be thunderstorms all weekend, will weather give either team an advantage?

even though both teams love to run the ball, the advantage would probably go to Northwest. East is a smaller team that mainly relies on quickness up front, and the speed of the garret boys in the backfield...Northwest has a bigger line with bigger backs, so the mud usually doesn't slow down power teams

23 South through Waverly and Piketon. In Lucasville, take a right at the light onto State Route 348. School is approximately 3 miles or so out on the right. You can then take a right onto Mohawk Drive or continue on 348 and take a right onto Duck Run which runs into Mohawk Drive. The stadium is located behind the Junior High, which is the last building you will come to of the three.

or

Take state route 104 in Waverly to state route 348.

Wow Fuzzhead, I am getting goosebumps as the high school football season kicks off in less than 4 hours!

Just a few more weeks until my boys and your boys square off in the Grove! ;-)

I know!!!!
I got a head start last week and watched Ashland kick off their season, but it's just not the same as it is on this side of the river.
Would you care to make an opening line for the Minford game? 8) Sure, it's a few weeks off, but it should be one of the most important games in the area. It sure has been the last few years.
