Week Six: Zanesville Rosecrans @ Hannibal River

After an offensive explosion, but a defensive letdown, can River carry the momentum into Friday nights game? Will Flannery start the hero of the Caldwell game Logan Lucas or put the ball back in the veteran Cody Caldwells hands? Either way this is arguably the most important game left on Rivers schedule as far as playoff hopes go. Zanesville has won the last two meetings between the teams with one of those going to OT. Last years game 21-0 in the pouring rain. This is not last years River team, they will come out looking for revenge on Homecoming night.

Not shaping up to be a very good night weatherwise for homecoming! Cool, wet, and windy. Could benefit River slightly as I believe ZR has played most of thier games on turf so far. Biggest game played in Hannibal since 2008! Good luck Pilots!!
