I will have to double check the stats, but I am pretty sure Coal Grove had three turnovers (two fumbles and an INT). Athens had one tonight (fumble).

I know we had at least one fumble and one interception against us and I thought we lost two fumbles but we may have got on the other I was thinking of.

Congrats on a great win. Hope its one of many in your new stadium. Honestly would like to see GAHS undefeated in that stadium!!! After the tornado the team and all of Athens county deserve a very successful football season and recovery in every way.

I just watched the replay of the game on tv, Athens lost a fumble on their first posession of the second half and threw an interception on their third possession. Still five turnovers through two games isn't good.

Ah yes, I forgot about that INT on 4th down. Not a bad call or decision in my opinion. QB threw it to the end zone on 4th and long but too far out of field goal range. An INT inside the 10 yard line worked as well as a punt in that situation, and certainly better than a turnover on downs. Though it's a turnover on the stat sheet, that one is not a bad turnover.
