AM/FM Stereo/cassette player/record player back in the early 80's. Oh my, how my music playing equipment has changed over the years. From regular house audio to pro audio. Wouldn't want to know what my wish list would be this year.$$$

I had a little Honda Z-50. I had to beg my Mom and Dad for years before they finally caved and got it. I loved that thing! When I got to be a teenager I traded it in for a Honda moped so I get back and forth to practices. Man I wished I wouldn't have done that.PopeSnoopDogThe1st wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2016 10:35 am Those Honda 70's were cool mini bikes....and still very collectable and desirable!! and they were fun, I had an old one growing up too...

Be perfect for me riding on them trails mushroom hunting. LOL. JW had one when he was a young-un too. Seen grown men ride these at pro drag races on TV to get to and from places at the track. Cool little bikes. There was a kid in town way back when I was younger riding around on them trails at the old baseball fields on one of them Honda trail 70's at just about everyone of our baseball practices it seemed. See him flying up the tracks on it too. Someone said he would come all the way from Enterprise on it. Seen him all the time riding it at our practices. You ought to see if you can find a couple of them trail 70's Bolt that run decent. They are out there still in good condition. Good for them trails putting around mushroom hunting for us. Hate walking up in there anymore.
Re: Most memorable Christmas gift you've received.
I don't know them are awful small engines to be pulling your big ole booty up them mountains out there in the mud and dirt. That engine would have to work awful hard and get mighty hot i spect. might even lock up on ya out there. might be alright for flat land but those dang hills out there where we go are pretty steep trench. You need at least a 125cc motor for out there.

Re: Most memorable Christmas gift you've received.
that's it. that's the one. we had a place called the Baja behind ironton junior high school, where everybody rode. which was like 1.5 blocks away from our house.pappy bait said to me ''young bait'' you can ride at the Baja all you want, but you have to walk the bike till you get there. I was like 10. n pappy bait was a sheriff's deputy at the time. it was Christmas day like 1970TRENCHFOOT wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:48 pm The gold ones was cool, Bait. What all colors did they have? and off for the Baja I went. then decided to do some neighborhood cruising. to make a long story short I was scared to death by a ironton cop car's siren that eased right up behind me n started wailing. he knew my dad I'm sure.he made me get off the bike and start walking it home. and here I am like 8 blocks from home, and I was sure I was going to Lucasville to the prison. and I'm in a very populated residential area, and I have to walk my Honda 70 home with him right behind me, siren screaming, the lights on. and this cop on the loud speaker basically making me run pushing it. it was the talk of town, and I was bawling thinking they'd confiscate the bike. it was a rough day fer ole bait. and anybody that knew my pappy knows that when I get home to dad standing out at the end of the driveway watching this spectical coming down the street knew my troubles had just begun. true story.

Bet you was scared to death. Would loved to have been there. Did your dad ground the bike for awhile? Mine would have. I was always getting grounded for stuff.YOU'RE TIGER BAIT wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 8:38 amthat's it. that's the one. we had a place called the Baja behind ironton junior high school, where everybody rode. which was like 1.5 blocks away from our house.pappy bait said to me ''young bait'' you can ride at the Baja all you want, but you have to walk the bike till you get there. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm yeah. and in somewhere between 70 /72 the last thing you wanted to do was face your pops after an incident like this. I was born in 1960 so I been through all the different gamets of the discipline process. I was picturing myself at 10/11/12 whatever it was sitting in prison at Lucasville in the corner with my back to the wall, and 8 hairy older men staring at me. my pops was awesome at projecting images like that. when we got to the house the cop and my dad just read me the riot act, neighborhood kids were running in the houses scared. I got grounded, and I think the neighbor kids think that I had been sent ''upriver'' was the term used. because I was in my bedroom the majority of Christmas break. I remember everybody hugging me on the bus stop January 3rd like I was out on bail er something.
