Re: Week 9: Notre Dame (7-1) at Symmes Valley (7-1)
Oh looks like ND was playing without their leading rusher who might have made a little difference and it also seems that you didn’t post before the game because you might have thought there was a chance you could get BEAT. Looks like you dropped a set after the game because I sure didn't see a post from you before the game. No disrespect to the good Viking fans. Not all are like you.s.v.vikinglinex2 wrote:OH FORGOT I THINK MAYBE THE POST EARLIER WAS WRONG WE HAVE THE BEST BACKFIELD ALSO!

SV had 533 yards rushing during the game so you really think the one back you had out for the game would have made that much of a difference? Seems like SV did their talking on the field and not online before the game. SV 61 ND 13.

I'm not getting into a Pi$$ing match with SV. I said what I had to say. You are a bigger team and this night you were better but that score doesn't reflect on how good ND really is. Take your win and move on to the next game. Good luck in the playoffs.
Re: Week 9: Notre Dame (7-1) at Symmes Valley (7-1)
Maybe you can do some editing to your photo's to get the game your really want. To bad that a poster could not comment after the game about a comment made before the game since your team lost. IT is not like he put down ND or any of the players or fans. SV did have 533 yards rushing during the game as they move on to the next game then playoffs.

SV completely won fair and square...they have a great team, classy players, and I wish them the best of luck the rest of the season.
But what is with that 550 pound ref working every Symmes Valley game? Is he president of the school board or what? In no way am I saying he lost the game for ND but he is absolutely ridiculous. If an OHSAA official reviewed tapes of him reffing, I'm sure his license would be revoked.

Sniff, sniff, I think I smell sour grapes.
I am a graduate of SV and as far as I know, that referee has no personal connections with the school. Did you look at the score? I could understand if it was 2 scores or less difference, but man, that takes the cake.
What I saw was a team that just plain got overpowered and worn out by a physically superior team. Don't mean to run ND down, they are a good team with some VERY fine athletes. It's just pretty clear to me that the strength and conditioning of our boys, particularly on the line, was too much for ND.

We don't need this type if stuff to put negativity towards an exciting season for fans, team, school and community. SV had a score called back also so let's not start pointing fingers. I've watched many sports in several states for years and years and refs are not right all the time especially from some fans point of view. Both teams played and coached hard. Both teams deserve to go to playoffs so all just focus on next game and what else both teams have to look for

If you had read my statement you would see that I said SV won fair and square & in no way, shape or form did the officiating affect the outcome of the game. SV is the better team, I'm just saying he always seems to be officiating when ND comes out there.

Actually I know that guy hes only about 375, but I have seen him in the gym bench press 550.scarlet_gray wrote:SV completely won fair and square...they have a great team, classy players, and I wish them the best of luck the rest of the season.

Man, ya skip one night on here and look what ya miss. ND fans, as fans at many other schools, are passionate about their team. We take pride in our team and will stand behind them no matter what. Most teams know there is typically a 1-2 touchdown advantage to SV just getting off of the bus there, thats how it always is. No doubt SV earned the win and came prepared last night. Time for ND to regroup, focus on east, and take it one play at a time.

Time for ND fans to quit making excuses one post at a time.

FYI: Fat Boy was flag happy during the East game as well. Flag after flag for holding against East and the film clearly shows no holding. Also, he's not the reason SV beat East, SV deserves the SOC, as they're easily the best team this year. Simply pointing out a crooked official.scarlet_gray wrote:SV completely won fair and square...they have a great team, classy players, and I wish them the best of luck the rest of the season.

Can I ask a serious question; does anyone really know how often this particular official calls SV games? Does he really call every home game or is it closer to 3 out of 5? I just ask because as an official, I usually try to limit myself to 1 visit per home site per year. Just an honest question about the practices of some schools and other officiating crews.scarlet_gray wrote:If you had read my statement you would see that I said SV won fair and square & in no way, shape or form did the officiating affect the outcome of the game. Blind, I can't say how many home games he called this year in total. But he did at least two, ND and East. And I can say for a fact that he did a terrible job at the East game. By far the worst official I've seen all year.Again, he isn't why East lost, but the film doesn't lie. The guy shouldn't even be calling flag football games.BlindWhiteHat wrote:Can I ask a serious question; does anyone really know how often this particular official calls SV games? Thanks Nut! I never thought that would see him as a running back but he’s done very well and I am very proud of the kid. I guess when you give 110% every game sometimes it can catch up to ya. There’s next year and hopefully the surgery goes well and he comes back even stronger than this year.OSU_Nut wrote:Sorry to hear about Milani, photo.
