Cleveland will be attractive to potential free agents to improve the team around Lebron. They will make him the maximum offer next year and if they strengthen the rest of the team, he ain't goin nowhere.

nope! you couldnt risk loosing d wests defense, they need to get rid of big ben and pick up another big to start, or back up verajao

I totally agree. The Cavs are in a great position to be Kings of the East for the next three to five years, especially if they can add one or two more quality players to the roster. They don't necessarily have to be superstars (although a D-Wade or Bosh wouldn't hurt), just solid players who will support Lebron and give him freedom to do his thing.

i dont think wade would help the cavs, i mean yeah he would be better overal than west, but he doesnt have the 3 down, and he would try and take drives away from lebron, but bosh on the other hand would be a great pick up for them, id he plays to his potential. and you say the cavs could be kings of the east for 3-5 lol the comical... im looking for more like 8-10. mo lebron, , west, sczerbiak and verajoa will be in their early to dim 30's... thats sick ... i cant wait to see the basketball ahead.

OK, how about this. Cavs give Lebron a share of ownership in the team in exchange for him giving them a huge hometown discount. With the extra cap money now available, the team signs players that Lebron wants around him and the lure is they win several championships, Lebron cements his legacy and long-term affection of the hometown fans. Could it happen? Cavs, just PM me so I can tell you where to send the consulting fees!

This is going to sound crazy in the wake of a 66-win season, but the Cavs need to have a fire sale in this offseason.
Wally (can't guard anyone in the league, except maybe Adam Morrison), Z, Joe Smith, Big Ben - they've all got to go.
D-Wade and Bosh would be good pickups, but they won't be able to get both of them.
You don't need a roster full of stars to win, but you do need solid workers to augment what your stars do for you.
This Cavs team is not built to win a championship.

i think getting bosh would be huge. ben wallace was non existant, see ya. i thought joe smith played pretty well in the minutes that he got, plus i think they have him pretty cheap. z, dont stub your TOE on the way out the door.

i dont think wade is going to leave miami anytime soon with beasley helping out. miami had a ton of injuries this year. should be a pretty fun off season.

I'll agree on Wade. I can't see him trading South Beach for winters in Cleveland.
Bosh is great 4, but I think they need a good 5. Who knows, maybe The Big Shaqtus will come north and we'll have Shaqahoga County!
Cleveland, Shaqhio!
The Shaq-n-Roll Hall of Fame!
Harbourfest becomes Shaqfest!
The Great Lakes are renamed the Shaq Lakes!
You get the picture ...

i love shaq but i think that 1 year for 20 million dollar contract might get in the way that he still has with the suns. yao ming would be a great addition but i dont think his contract is up and houston isnt going to trade him.

cavs need atleast another all-star or above avg player for james to stay at cleveland. so cavs get rid of the players that dont play or trade away someone to get lebron another all star in there with him.

ben wallace said that he isnt a big enough factor for the cavs, so he is calling it quits and said that he wants his next years 14 million sallary to go to the building of a championship team for LeBron and company.
