ok I am sure I will get torched for this, but I just don’t see the mega hype that is being drummed up by Logan, on Angle. I will say first and foremost, that I think he is a fine athlete. He came to Marietta last season and looked very good. But if I am being honest he has a fantastic supporting cast. There are great players all over the field when Logan comes to town. Logan has earned all there league titles the past years. I have also seen his name in the 150 list in Ohio, on espn. that is all great and I am proud that he is bringing attention to the seoal. The fact is there are comments out there like the next “Bret Farve”. I think we are getting a bit carried away. I know that whoever posted this is going to say that it is a joke. I am sure it is but the people in Logan really think he is a D1 QB. Is this a fact are there D1 schools offering a full scholarship. I am not in anyway putting him down. I do think he is a great athlete. I am just not sure he is all that. I think that Logan is so well coached that his team mates make him special. Just a what if, would he be doing what he does at Athens, or Warren. If so I will never comment on him again. I just know that Marietta had a great QB last season. Westbrook did not have the same rushing yards, and threw more interceptions. But he is going D1, it is for track but Ohio Stare for anything is a great accomplishment. I wish Angle all the luck and I wish the same for Logan. I just want someone educated on this topic, to answer some of the questions I have about this fine young man with out putting me down or attacking me personally for asking questions.
Thanks

Yea I know what you mean. I personally never seen the kid play or even heard of him for that matter. So if he is THAT good how come he's not on a radar of rivals 150? If he is I can't find him. I'm sure he's a heck of an athlete, but Brett Favre? What is he gonna graduate and come back to HS, then graduate and come back again?   J/K!

I wish him all the best and hope he is the next Favre, but don't build the guy up to fail to expectations.

Angle isn't even the best QB in the SEOAL.

Clint Cannon from New Lex is going to have another monster year.

Riiiiight.
Well Cats, to be honest with ya. You got to see Angle play the same way the rest of the SEOAL got to see him play. 1/2 the game. He didnt have to try. Did you catch the Lancaster game? Go watch a game that matters then tell us what you think about him. This isnt a slam on Marietta, this is dont base your opinion of him based on that game.

I would just like to say that Pat is great qb and a great athlete!! You can correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't he picked Gridiron Glory Player of the Year? He was voted the winner and there were alot of talented kids up for that honor!! As far as him being looked at as a division 1 football player, he should be. I know for chilli kids they do a good job of getting their kids looked at. It has alot to do with your coaches getting your name out there, sending game film out to schools. I know this young man and he's a great kid! Even though him and my son suit up against each other every year. After every game they always hug and shake hands out of respect for each other. I just don't think people should talk about him like that. I mean even though Logan has became a big rival of ours, they have a great football program and like it or not they are a dominating team with great athletes year in and year out! I don't care how far they go or don't in the playoffs they are a tuff team to beat in the SEOAL. Everybody in the SEOAL knows it.

Yes he did play the whole game against Chillicothe. If you are willing to go to the extreme and not admit that the rain had a major effect on that game then this debate is over but you know as well as i do it would have been a different game. I remember i think 3 balls he threw that were dead on target and receivers just couldnt catch them because of the rain. Angle chewed up 40 minutes of clock that game with little 5 yard runs. Didnt have to do anything but hold onto the ball to win the game.

OK, he said he was a good athlete?? You get on here and run your big mouth way too much and all it does is show your age and how immature you are. Yea Logan has a good program......when they're beating up smaller programs and such in the SEOAL, what happens when Logan hits the playoffs and face stiff competition? Just answer that honestly. I have never seen this kid play, but i would say from what i hear , he is a pretty darn good athlete and quarterback , so I am saying it now, this post is not aout Logan or any of Logans athletes, it's about you.
You get on here and knock every program in the whole southern ohio area, it gets old. Maybe you should wake up and realize that there is some other very solid programs that has some very good athletes other than Logan? This might not be a my argument to make but make, but I'm sick of your stupid posts. So why dont you do everyone a favor and shut your flabbin ignorant jaws, and if you have a problem with what I have said, just give me a PM and we will discuss it

This post came from an IRONTON FORUM for best IRONTON RUNNING BACKS, and you had to make some sarcastic remarks about eddie george?? Are you that jealous of Ironton's tradition? I am saying this, and it is not an opinoin, it is a fact, IRONTON HAS MORE TRADITION AND PRODUCED BETTER PLAYER'S THAN LOGAN HAS EVER DREAMED OF TO DATE. I understand that you have a more profound hatred of jealousy and hatred now that Ironton has joined the SEOAL, which shows that you are, and I am guessing that you are 17 years old, 19 at the very oldest. And if you are older than 18, then my God, the joke is on you and you really need to grow up.
So i am tired talking about this so I will say this, I dont need to prove my posts, YOUR POSTS SHOW THAT YOU ARE A TRUE IDIOT
