The Official " Make fun of" the PDT Thread

Thought this might be fun to poke fun at the diaster that is the PDT , maybe make some comments that people from the PDT could see and pass on to middle or upper level management.

Today's is a dandy : FROM THE HEADLINE OF THE NEWSPAPER the wrong tense of the verb supply :

Officer supply drugs to inmates ......... it's past tense so the headline should read Officer SUPPLIED drugs to inmates ...

Feel free to keep this thread going. One of my peeves is taking a sport that very few people care about and making it a headline story , like horse racing or NHL . MD

In Sundays paper about the artists in residence they refer to one of the artists as Patrick Wilson in the very first paragraph and then call him Patrick Walker all the way through the rest of the article and in the photos.

I also noticed the same story on two different pages a couple of times in the past couple of weeks.

It's sad what the "RAG" has become. You would think the "STAFF" would be embarrassed at the product they are producing.

But making fun of and ridiculing ANY hometown or local endeavor is a fun game and good sport, isn't it? How many times did I hear "don't take your sick puppy" to the hospital in Ironton - and now it's GONEll You must go farther afield to seek a health-care provider!
Aren't you proud? All you who claim to support small business and local industry are the ones who proudly ridicule local newspapers, hospitals, et al. Keep it up and you'll soon be doing without any locally based services at all or the jobs or other revenue those businesses provide.

I have a couple of sick puppies and I was just beginning to write about them and one of them started throwing up on the floor and I had to run and take care of him so that was all I got to write.

PDT is owned and ran by an out of state company i've been told. I poke fun at them hoping they will see the error of their ways and get better .....don't fall off your high horse lewis, it must be a long way down

in yesterdays edition (friday) that had a headline story that said "see page 5" for the rest of the article. but on pg 5 there was no continuation. It was on Pg 3.

Here's some gaffes from the past couple of weeks.

I guess anyone in the area named Gus had better beware because according to the headlines in the PDT "Thieves Are Targeting Gus". The story was actually about thieves stealing guns, but the headline clearly said "Gus".

Just last week they named the wrong girl as Queen for Northwests homecoming in the headlines, even though the article and pictures named the correct one. Do they even read their own paper before it's printed??

Then today, the same article about Garcia being dismissed from the SC football team was on two different pages only a couple pages apart.

I also don't like the new print font. It just doesn't look right for some reason.
