Re: Post 303 American Legion Baseball Tryouts Announced
I'm not bumping anyone for fear of losing man points, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
That said, I wish the 303 post the best this year. I know that they have a couple of very sincere supporters, who are incredibly dedicated to youth baseball.
The youth of Vinton County and surrounding areas need to respond with the same level of dedication that the sincere supporters have shown over the last couple of years.
And that, my friends, is an unsponsored, unsolicited, honest shout out to you kids who are kind of thinking about summer baseball. This is an opportunity that you cannot pass up..........

Coach Will Heislop needs to get the players birth certificates to them so they can play elsewhere.

Re: Post 303 American Legion Baseball Tryouts Announced
Tryouts, have been pushed back until Wednesday and Thursday due to the weather.
On a further note, no releases will be given this season. We have only four high schools to draw from and we hope that everyone in those areas wish to play with us. We have for the past six seasons provided an opportunity for local kids to play baseball for free. The only thing we have ever asked for was their loyalty, instead we have been taken advantage of and often disregarded.
If you have any questions please call 740-352-6205.
