Probably your best bet would be to PM Hawkeyepierce. Although he's not paid, I think he's still allowed to do the stats for VC football.

I dont just say I know.Its a fact Fort Frye is a much better team then Vinton County.You could not even score on are varsity.Come on dude use some commone sense.Fort Frye scored every time Robinson was at the helm.He is much better then anyone one your team.The Varsity killed Vintons varsity.The VC JV dominated Fort Fryes.The only thing close about this game was the score.

Sign ups for flag football this Saturday at 9am at the old high school. Grades K thru 3rd. Hopefully this will get more kids into the VC football program and get things going in the right direction.

im willing to bet it was the robinson kid..haha anyone that thinks they are any good in this area needs to go to a nike combine and test their skills..come back ranked and gloat..i thought i was somthing in highschool because i was clocked at a 4.45 40 so i went to a nike combine ..lets just say it was a very humbling experience..in our area u may be a big fish in a small pond ...but dnt think their arent bigger pods with bigger fish.....vc will figure it out and have a better season than last.

yea but when ur bench is 6 reps of 185 and u only have 32 in. vertical , u dnt look as good as u think lol . but back to Fort Frye idk why we'd even scrimmage them in teh first place. we need to play tough teams and bigger schools like we do in basketball in the summer that way when the regualr season comes along we're playing at a higher level than our competition..thats why we always stomped people haha

They did not look good last night. We had quite a few on the sideline not dressed out due to injuries I guess. The Vikes did not look enthused at all.

I didn't like the TO used early in the 2nd Q on 4th and 9 around midfield. Even if we get a delay, it's only 4th and 14. What's the big deal? We could have used that TO with seconds left at the end of the first half on the Unioto one yard line. Didn't have it and time ran out. With a TD as you go to locker room at half , at worst we would have been down 13-12 with mighty mo swinging to our side.

It upset me when the TO was called and really upset me when we needed it real bad.

Good luck to the Vikings next week up at Bloom-Carroll. They were real good last year. Hope we come to play and get a few more guys back into uniform.

i dont know why the qb didnt go on first sound when time ran out right at the end of the half. you guys won the turnover game but failed to put them away with scores off turnovers.

The basketball team never played good teams when it counted, though. I don't know who they play during the summer, but they always play the Sisters of the Poor during the regular season. The football team has always played a very tough schedule, never backing down from no one or no thing.

Friday's game was a tough loss, but I saw some positives. Remember, we've been battling injurees and we had alot of kids out. As soon as we are healthy we will be very solid. Also, with a few more breaks I think we still could have won that game against Unaoto. That's with countless injurees! I look for us to be very competitive by the team are league schedule rolls around.

Just for the record I have never bashed any coach of any sport at any level. Especially the youth coaches who are volunteers and spend alot of time coaching kids other than there own. God bless you for what you do. I think the ones who coach Lil Vikes do a great job, they are always competitive. I just think that we would strengthen the program if we had more VC teams getting numbers up. If someone is offended because people have new ideas to improve the program then thats not my problem. I just wish one time in VC people the county get behind each other and work as a group to help the youth program succeed. The people who founded coached and still coach thank you for getting a good thing going.

WELL LIKE ALWAYS VC FOOTBALL TEAM IS HORRIBLE, I AM FROM VC AND I SUPPORT OUR PROGRAMS VERY MUCH. BUT YATES HAS GOT TO GO HE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A FOOTBALL COACH. I HAVE NO CLUE HOW HE KEEPS HIS JOB I HAVE SOME IDEAS BUT IL KEEP THAT TO MYSELF . I DON'T SEE VC WINNING I DAM GAME. ANYHOW THEY NEED FIRE THAT DAM YATES AND EVERYBODY WHO HAS A PART IN IT AND START OVER FOR SURE. ITS FUNNY HOW VC GOT RID OF BEST COACH THEY HAD FEW YEARS BACK( NOT QUEEN EITHER). SO I WILL END BY SAYING I HOPE VC DOES WELL AND ALSO I HOPE THEY GET HEAD OUT THEIR ASSES AND KICK YATES OUT!!!!!!
