NY travels to ZT on Friday in Division III tournament action. The Buckeyes are coming off a huge 3-2 tournament victory over Southeastern and are looking at extending their season further than has been typical in recent memory.

Good Luck Buckeyes!!!

Zane Trace went 19-8 in the regular season.
The last meeting in baseball between these two schools was the District Semi-Finals in 2001. Zane Trace won that game 9-2 in Jackson.

Cannibal- it's tourney time; don't take anything for granted. I'm pickin' ZT too but don't be surprised if it's a tight one.

The game was close until the 5th. The NY kids were uptight and couldn't relax at the plate. NY was starting 3 freshmen and 2 sophs and we hung with the top seed. Take that and build on it. ZT has some good looking ballplayers and I wish them well during the tournament.

Congrats to the Buckeyes on their season. Seniors Mark Campbell and Chance Fox had terrific seasons and will be missed. It was pure enjoyment to watch all of these kids learn and progress throughout the season. I hope all of the underclassmen participate in summer leagues because the future looks bright for the Young Bucks!!!

GO BUCKEYES!!!
