Trimble just had a better game than St. Joe tonight. Congrats to the Flyers on a great season and good luck to the Tomcats on Friday.

Congratulations to Coach Bryant and the Flyers on a great season. Best of luck to the Trimble Tomcats and the Symmes Valley Vikings this Friday.
Re: Ironton St. Joe - Trimble
The #2 Team in the state not even making it out of the first round of districts. Wow!! What a shocker. I think I called this two weeks ago.
Time for St. Joe to up their schedule and start playing teams other then Hannan, Huntington St. Joe, Ironton Bible School, Ashland Little League, etc....
Take it easy, I am just playing around. But for them to improve they will need to up their schedule!!

But if River Valley is a big game then you aren't going to make it out of Districts..Take it to the bank..
Why not try to schedule some tough teams & get the boys ready for the post-season???!!!..Strength of schedule has always been horrible to St. Joe..Am I wrong?..
But why not play some big schools w/a decent program?..You'll only benefit even if you do lose..
You'll more than likely see good pitching like you do in Districts & beyond & you challenge your boys to step up & field the ball off of better bats..
But hey if just getting ranked is all you want you got it..
But all of the BS aside the boys have stepped up to every challenge & won everything so far. So Congrats!..
I Hope you are deserving & didn't just put a target on your back!!!
Didn't make it past the 1st game in districts!..

Yes you can now!..
Congrats to the boys from ISJ for beating almost everyone put in front of you this year!
I hope your coach & AD can get you some challenges for next season as to better prepare you for the post-season!
Trimble, congrats on extending your season & good luck against Symmes Valley!

St. Joe did not ask to be ranked 1st or 2nd in the state. I actually think while the ranking was nice it put more pressure on our kids. As for our schedule, some of you need to get a freakin life. SJ is the smallest school in the OHSAA and the schedule was finished before Coach Bryant knew that Riley and Young were coming home to play for the Flyers.
I for one am proud of the way this team conducts themselves on and off the field as well as the classroom. Maybe next year we can schedule Moeller, Elder, St. Xavier , etc. Keep your head up Flyers .

Congrats to Trimble. They played well and took advantage of their runners and Flyer errors. Good luck Friday to Coach Faires and Trimble vs Symmes Valley
Re: Ironton St. Joe - Trimble
Nobody is saying that they need to play Moeller, or St. X, but play some of the better Div. IV teams in Southern OHIO. There is one head coach in the SOC that has done his best to schedule ISJ for the last two years and there is always an excuse why they can't play or schedule a game.
With that being said, the kids do not have control over the schedule and they did a good job beating the teams that their coach and AD set up for them. Good luck in the future to those Seniors!
Wasn't trying to raise any feathers.

When did this supposed phone call take place? I know for a fact it didn't happen.

Many reasons---Easter, Prom, Variety Show, School trip (a lot of schools rearrange their schedule b/c of trips
Your coach is more worried about winning and being recognized, than challenging the kids to become better players by playing talented teams.
Pretty much the same schedule we have played for 5 years or so. Next years already has South Point, CG, Minford and Northwest on it. I guess putting Rock Hill on would make for the biggest schools in the area being on it (of course noone wants to say we are the smallest school in OHSAA excepct for Put-in-bay w/9).

What team do you coach? None. Exactly. When you have the impulse to start directing things like this toward the coach...any coach....the best thing for you to do is keep you big trap shut. Its probably best for everyone, especially you.
I would go out on a weak limb to say that you have never coached a day in your life, probably never played either.
Most coaches in southern Ohio, including Coach Bryant, have made an enormous impact in kid's lives. I know just about all of the coaches around our area....top to bottom.....and Coach Bryant is right up there on the list on the positive lasting effects he has on his kids.

Coach Bryant is a class act and neither he nor his team should get the attacks they are getting now. The voters could vote anyway they wanted, but they voted for St. Joe-enough said.
Yea, schedule a baseball game over the events listed and you could get shot some places.
Once again congrats to the Flyers on a great season and to Coach Bryant!

Didn't they play East? I am fairly sure they would have beat Oak Hill but I can not say about South Webster. The game last night turned on just a few plays. Give it a rest, St. Joe had a great year-give the kids credit!

Yeah give it a rest. Have you finished all of that crow already? Looks like you still have a few bites left.....here they come!
They did play East. I believe they mercy ruled them both times.
I hate getting on people from Webster, alot of great people out there, but man you just keep asking for it!
Webster should start scheduling better competition so they dont fizzle out in the first round. They should be scheduling Adena, Jackson, Ironton, Zane Trace,etc......Dont you think SWbasballFan

South Webster actually scheduled with ISJ next year, so I guess your AD is one step ahead of me!

I thought ISJ played with alot of class last night. the kids played hard and their fans were in the game the whole time. they showed good sportsmanship even after the game. let them enjoy the season they had.
