I don't mean to keep stirring the pot but if you look at the sequence of photos you see Bland almost standing straightup and the angle of his legs shows he is trying to change directions. It was an unfortunate accident. I have known Cody all his life and his parents. He was not raised to behave that way and if his parents thought for a second he had done it on purpose he would have been called on the carpet imediately by them.
No one in their right mind wants to see any of these young athletes get injured on the playing field or anywhere else for that matter.
Regretable accident, but lets move on.

I have never posted a negative comment before but this was too much. South Webster and ISJ both lost with more class than SV won with tonight. Also the chants of" football ,football" after the game was a good idea. suit em up

I have absolutely no dog in this fight. Just checking out the forum reading along and this one caught my eye. I checked out the pics. Number 53 in pic #250 is planting hard on his right foot to cut left out of the way. In pic #249 his right arm is almost at his side (no way that is an intentional forearm). There would have been a bent elbow and raised up above the shoulder on impact. And lastly, what high school kid does or should ever slow down due to the score? You said he ran him over being up 10 runs. Who cares? 10 runs or 100 you play as hard as you can while you are out there. Just tired of all this complaining about high school kids are still giving 110% no matter the score and the people who are losing complaining about it. With that philosophy, Trimble should have also stopped playing hard since they were down so much. Correct? Sorry for the rant.

Did the game scheduled for 5/28 get rained out? If so, when is the game going to played in Lancaster and at what field?
