Ironton has one kid from South Point which is Dickess, one other player called into Ironton but they didnt let him play for them, so he called to Rock Hill and he told me they said that they cant split up two players from the same team even if they are not having an All-Star team.

Why don't you check with Blind white hat and see if there is any truth to that before you post something like that. He may be able to answer this one. Otherwise, it's not good to whine like that.

He didn't pitch the other night but I was told he played the outfield really well.

didn"t realize senior league was a school based function. oh well i guess you learn something new everyday :122248  :122248

You are correct, little league is not a school based function. However it is based on geography or all the coaches wouldn't have to have maps with them at the tournament with addresses plotted to prove that they're players live in the that SCHOOL district.

One other South Point player did contact Rock Hill to try to play but wasn't allowed to because a team was not allowed to be split up if they wanted to play for another team, and he wasn't allowed to play for Ironton for some reason. Nice to see kids that want to play have a place to play, huh?

I am the league president and no one has contacted me from South Point to play with Ironton other than the one player on our affidavit. There was one player that was going to but he was unable due to some family health issues. That leaves Ironton with 13 of 14 roster spots filled.

That is incorrect. Not all little league boundaries are exactly the same as their local school district boundaries.

That is a rule from Little League International. Ironton's girls were affected by this rule during this season. We had some Senior League girls play for Symmes Valley while some others wanted to play for Coal Grove. We were told that all must play in the same league. That's just the way it is.

Just as RRT pointed out before, most every league in District 11 has benefited by having players from other leagues join up with their team. For some reason, it has become a big deal this season to some posters.

you are right about that blind hat, however there are district lines according to location, and they generally follow the school district. I may have misspoke regarding proving they live in the school district, but if you look at the district lines you'll see they follow the school district lines in most cases

In most cases it is the school district lines but not all.

Please don't hate us for wanting and doing what it takes to win.
