How would the chances of injury be any different than if the teams were playing other schools instead of each other?

It will probably be the biggest gate of any game held inside of Gallia County this year.

I do not see anyone beating up on anyone in this. Both teams will have a lot of work to get done and a long season ahead. Both coaching staffs will be doing a lot of looking at athletes and packages in this jamboree Lets hope it is a good crowd to jump start the fund raising for the new stadiums!

I might just check this out

I just might have to make a trip up to Cheshire for that.

Someone should see if SG could set up a food tent down by the tennis courts.

River Valley isn't that good. There new coach seems to be heading them in the right direction but I guess I don't understand why this would be such a big game.

To anyone outside of Gallia County this would not mean nothing but this will be the first time the two schools will even be on the same field for football. The baseball teams scrimmaged for few years but were told to stop.

Oh OK I get it. I didn't mean to sound like an **s I just wanted to know why it was a big deal. Well if the game happens I hope its epic and the gate is huge!!!!!!!

It will be a Jamboree and not a regular season game. The gate will be used to jump start the Gridiron for Gallia campaign to raise money for new stadiums for both River Valley and South Gallia.

boogerred-I like the idea of the food tent, would be just like a Rebel home game.

Always a WONDERFUL time down in the South End Zone!!!!! :122245 :122245 :-D Maybe my pops, ol' Mr. Fortner and the whole crew can get something together with a food tent at this. It would be fun taking the End Zone canopy on the road...

ol' Mr. Fortner...... Not that old... am I .....:(

I am up for tailgating... We could give any donations to the group trying to raise money for the new football fields.

I am love to eat and talk... Two of my three favorite things to do.

orange and brown this is a game that could be up there with north carolina - duke, ohio state-michigan, it will be that big.

you wont be able to tell noone it`s a scrimmage unless you come out on the short end of the stick. bringing the ol svac days back for a clash.

this sight will be flooded and you will think someone won the superbowl

You're spot on, 91blue14!
I am looking forward to this game very much, even though it's only a scrimmage.

i wish i could get a penny for every attendee and the ones that get turned away.

maybe they will broadcast by radio for those who cant get in.

could you imagine what a video tape could go for?
