Open gyms start on Tuesday

And the up-and-coming:
Jrs: OH Lakin Roberts, Libero/Setter? Allison Dennis
Sophs: Setter Allyson Spence, OH/BH Allie Proctor, MH Brandie Rogers
Frsh: Setter? Mackenzie Brooks, MH Emma Ryan, OH Jordanna Rauch

Lotta talent, but we lost two tough ones last year. Looking for a setter and libero...who fills those roles?

Warren High School Athletic Boosters are sponsoring the "Big Blue Bonanza".
Date Is August 1st at The K of C Hall in Churchtown.

Cost per ticket is 50.00 which includes entry into drawing, dinner and dance.

Grand prize is a Kawasaki Mule or 5,000.

The Lady Warriors are in Cincinatti at camp this week. After day one they are 7-1.

After todays pool play the Lady Warriors are 12-4.

I'm not sure because I was not there. My daughter could only remember Unioto and Coshocton. Warren won 3 of 4 against these schools. Maybe someone else can fill in more details.

Does Warren have any scrimmages planned? I see in the postings above that there are 4 middle hitters. All varsity? How about setters?

Our schedule says we scrimmage at Waterford on 8-18 at 10 and at Athens on
8-19 at 530.

I think we'll have a good team this year. Go Lady Warriors.

Should have a solid team this season, lots of girls were out for tryouts.
This year's sophomore class was the first to experience the benefit of Warren's junior high team for two years, and it shows.

Plus, many of the varsity players spent their offseasons playing club ball, and it shows, too. Warren's ready to roll for another successful season.

Scrimmages at Waterford from 10-5 on 8/18 and at Athens at 5 (i think) will help the coaches figure that out.
