Gallipolis (3-3) at Chillicothe (1-5) Week 7 Oct. 7
Re: Gallipolis (3-3) at Chillicothe (1-5) Week 7 Oct. 7
GAHS had better not overlook anyone. With their offensive production anyone on their schedule could beat them.
Above is my post from last Monday, I still believe its true.

Gallia has struggled to score points the last couple of weeks and Chillicothe is coming together a bit as of late, this could be a good game.

Until we get better pass protection they had better be running the ball because someone on the line last night was not blocking at all Last night the qb was running for his life a few times the handoff and the hit was almost at the same time I hope I never see our boys show up at a game prepared like they were last night
Still faithful
Still blue
Still behind you
No go out an win this week

I feel the blue can win this one.
Need to just go back to the basics (IE Correct Blocking Assignments, Tackling, ball security, running routes,)
If they can open up with a long drive and try to get some momentum on offense and hopefully score a touchdown I feel they will be okay. The only question is if they can
Does anyone know if the QB can or is allowed to Audible after reading the D to hot pass or run? Just a question

Don't worry about that, there are plenty of "fans" who will do that for you.Blue_nd_Gray wrote:Good luck Blue!

Blue_nd_Gray, my comment is not aimed at you. Just borrowing your quote. Just wanted to be clear about that.

Execution!! If it happens, I will take my CAVS 17-10, if not it could be a long night. Gallia's def has shut some good teams down already this year. LET'S GO CAVS

Gallipolis should win this game, but the Blue Devils must adjust in the second half. GAHS has outscored opponents 51-22 during first half play this fall, but Blue Devils have been outscored 40-24 during second half play.
Also, Logan was the first team this year to score on GAHS in the first period last Friday.

:122249 And as I remember....no-one thought the Cavs would win on the river last year. Homecoming...Cavs by 6

The score by halves speaks volumes. There were complaints about lack of adjustments in the Ironton and Jackson games last year. And with our lack of speed, in several games already this year.Jottings wrote:Gallipolis should win this game, but the Blue Devils must adjust in the second half. Simply put, if the team that played Ironton shows up, gotta go with The Devils.
If not, who knows?

I see the CAVS scoring twice in the first quarter putting the pressure on an offense that has struggled to score points this year. Could be a good challenge because the CAVS have given up two fourth quarter leads this year. I think this could be a very hard fought contest.
