Congrats to Alexis, she now in my mind has become the best athlete in that family. She now passes her dad who was a one man gang in track at Kyger Creek in the late 70's.

Tony was the fastest D-end I ever played against!
The Marietta Vs. Gallia Game my junior year was my last at left tackle!

Tony was the fastest kid ever at GAHS. He ran a 10.78 in the seventh grade on those old cinders we used to have. He even slowed up the last 15 or so because he was about 30 in front of everyone. Of course the school records don't reflect it or even the jr high records which is crazy but true because I was there with him. I asked the timers what his time was, Tony didn't even know that was a good time, he was so ho hum about his speed. I don't think he really knew how fast he was but I did and so did anyone who played against him or with him. As a seventh grader he was faster than anyone I have seen come thru our league playing varsity sports! Belpre had a kid around the same age that seemed to have some Asian influence that could fly also but was still 15 yards slower in a 100 yard race than Tony was.
