If Athens isn't looking ahead to Alexander they should win this game.

Homecoming night for the Vikings. I have faith in Coach Burleson and the coaching staff to have these boys prepared. With a emotional group of seniors, I can only expect them to be competitive.

If Athens comes out focused as they did last week against Meigs this game will be over early, if they look ahead to Alexander, VC could hang around for a bit. I think the talent advantage of Athens will eventually win out either way.

Any hopes of league titles for VC, Meigs, and Wellston ride on Friday's games. If any or all of them lose their TVC title chances go away.

It looks very bad for the vikings not getting better each game getting worse, if you can't run the ball and you can't pass the ball and you can't stop the run or the pass you will lose every game it's that simple

Athens will finish 9-1 (lose to N-Y by 2 td's) and miss the playoffs. Vinton County is already getting ready for basketball season.
