Having seen every game West has played this year, I've gotta say this is the most physical team I've seen play in several years. They're not afraid to lay you out on any given play. They've got speed on both sides of the ball and they have some great hands in the secondary. I haven't seen Valley play, so I can't say anything about them. I'm pulling for a West W, but either way, it's gonna be a great game.

I'm still not convinced that either team is gonna make a very deep playoff run though, no matter what happens. I think southern Ohio football is down this year. Could just be me though.

Should be a great game. Valley stadium will be packed to the rafters. Get there early if you want a seat should be 7000 plus in attendance. Valley skill players too much for west in a close one.

Well the day is finally here this should be a great game with a playoff atmosphere for sure, this is one of the things that make high school football so great, this will be a battle between two very talented teams with two different styles, haven't got too see Valley play yet but have been to all of the West games they seem to get better every week been very impressed with that, as for the the keys tonight for the Siders we need to make long time consuming drives to keep Valley's offense off the field, we need to cut down on the penalties and our depth on then o and d lines, been around West football since the mid 70's don't remember ever having this much depth at those positions, don't know if the Indians will be able to handle 4 quarters of that at the line of scrimmage, what I do know is Valley is going to see by far the best the hardest hitting most physical team they have seen this season and I know that both of these groups of young men are going to play hard and make their fans proud, let's hope and pray for a good injury free game for both of these great teams.

Well, it was nice to see some Valley students/fans/whoever come to the West Side last night to leave some signs at the school and paint on the boy's life size statues! Classy!

Should be a great game between to proud schools.
Blow out no I don't think so each team will need to play hard and concentrate and not allow free yardage with penalties.
tackling will be a must in this game as both can hit the big play let's hope for a good well played safe game between two good teams.

What a nice day. Woke up to bright sunshine in Lucasvile. Should be a perfect night weather wise for the game. Battle of the unbeatens. We will find out how hard West hits. Valley can run and throw will West stop both. Valley wins in a close one.

Almost as classy as waking up on a Friday morning a few years ago before a west and Valley game and finding west side spray painted on everyone's garage doors and a big penis in the driveway!! You shouldn't mess with other peoples stuff no matter who's it is.

I heard from a VERY reliable source that the signs at West were hung by their own students... A little reverse psychology. Really looking forward to tonights game!

As far as "fans" go...both West and Minford fans feel like they are unbeatable, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Nothing that is said on here will effect the outcome of the game....a few players may think about a post or two, but as soon as they get hit in the mouth, thats all gone. Stop getting worked up about something someone posts to get everyone worked up.

As far as the line play Bleeding Red, I dont think it will be as big a deal as you say. We will all find out in about 27 hours.

I hope you are right. I would like to see Valley pull out the win. For one, there is a .001% chance Minford could later regain some playoff points...LOL.

Secondly, there are like 12 West posters that have been driving me nuts with their posts. Those people would fall off the face of the earth.

I give you, Jesco and Bo credit. Rain or shine, you guys are still here.
And we will be here tonight win/loss....dont forget about crab_apple4 and Crabs brother....Always around.

Really??
bc thats awfuly funny that the AD has them on camera and is pressing charges on the people who done it. We are NOT nervous at all. That would make no sence to destroy our own locker room at all. Thats ok though. They will find out tongiht who the Senators are;)

Didn't say nervous... And if anything was vandalized then charges should be pressed. I talked to someone close to the situation that didn't say a word about the locker room. If that's the case then I don't blame West one bit... There's no excuse for doing something like that.

I will believe it when I see it. I would think this would be on the Portsmouth Daily Times website, but of course it is not.

PICS or GTFO...I think the West fans are caught with the hand in the cookie jar boys....SHOW ME pics, Also, I want to see the public record where charges are being pressed....

I know because a few years ago (2005) when Valley went to the regional title game, we "pretended" to be burg fans and decorated the tennis courts at Valley and hung abunch of signs and etc....even the Valley "hired" security was in on it. (shout out to Mr. Adkins)...and it didnt work, we lost to Burg 27-0 LOL

So dont tell me this crap doesnt happen....as I said, show me some concrete proof, or GTFO you noobs
