Pepsiman, the dimensions, not all the time, but most are 210' left and right, 225 center.

Pepsiman, your exactly correct "I" as a father I complained, but, sat my son down and told him that sometimes this is going to happen and to keep working hard.

When I was catching in LL I would call for pitches inside about chin high, maybe once or twice then we'd throw one out on the corner. All according to what his feet and hands were telling me. Not to many HR hitters when I was behind the plate. I do remember walking a guy that was playing minor league at 12, so my dad had us roll the ball across the plate every time he came up. I was like 6 back then. It never caused me any emotional distress as I grew up.

My question is is this a city rec league or is it a game between two teams from different towns? If they are from the same town I would say walking would be a mistake as I would think the goal of a city rec league would be to build a team for the future. Now if it is is two teams from different towns (school system) then I would say that it is fair.

That is a legit homerun fence in this area. Hiting 17 hr's is fantastic.Sounds like you may have quite a player on your hands. Good luck to him the rest of this season and beyond.

i was thinking the same thing and have been for as long as this thread has been around. 17 homeruns is amazing. that is like a profesional hitting 120 or more. its just crazy. keep doing what your doing and one day we can all see him play on tv and living the dream

I've never seen a player int walked in LL. But we were not that good so...lol. I don't agree with it , but is it any different than infield shifts, strategy, etc? Kinda cheap though I agree.
