Alexanders weak non league will show up tonight. Just like last year, 4-1 Alex struggled to beat 1-4 VC by a score of 28-20. VC is better this year and if they can put together 4 quarters, they have a great chance to win this game. Ill take VC by 6.

Dundas you keep bringing up last years game. It was one of two i caught of Vinton and Alexander threw a pick at the end of the half that Vinton ran back 100 yds for a TD and Vinton scored with 2 seconds left to make the score 28-20. The game was not nearly as close as the final score ended up being so quit tooting your horn about it.

Well at least the Spartans had new sod prior to this one, field conditions could be a factor in this one along with weather. The better team doesn't always win in poor weather conditions but the big line of Alexander will have the advantage.

Take away the score at the end, 28-14 is still no blowout cavs. Nothing compared to the numbers they put up against their non league. It will be the same as last year with the difference being that VC is much improved. If Alexander can throw the ball tthey will win. If they rely on running, it will be a long night for their backs. VC has an exceptional run defence for a 1-4 team.

Here is a link to the Band Eastwood's song "Tree Stand". Some former Viking players are in the band.

This is week 6 and once again we may be able to say this team is the best Alex has seen so far. The funny thing is we'll likely be saying it through week 9. Alex wins this one.

53-15 Alex, I think that's what the radio said anyway. If not it was something very similar.

53 - 7 was the varsity score. They scored again on jv. Hey dundas tell us all about that good run defense again. Game was over in 12 minutes. But i will say this vc looks better and i truly believe that if they can leave politics out of it those kids will be winning soon.

I didn't get to watch this one live, but did catch it on the radio. Sounded like the Alex qb had his way.. VC didn't show up tonight on defense and it's getting pretty pathetic. These boys have proven they can lead and win this season, yet they don't show up and they have no consistency tonight. Frustrating!!!
