I just got off the phone with Steves wife:

did not have a good connection, but did get this Info.

she said they did surgery this Morning,and Steve is still out right now, and is in stable condition, they are still waiting on some other test, but found out he had some kind of liver disease, and thried to get as much of it out as they could, while they was in there.


I ask her to call me if she found out anything else.


Steve, we are all still praying for you buddy.

well i guess some of that is good news. i hope everything goes ok and he gets well soon

i just talked to him and he said he hopes to be moved from icu to a regular room in the next day or so

Just talked with 4-Ever...He's in ICU right now...They've still got to correct liver problem...If all goes well, he could head home on Tuesday.

Still on liquids.

Hopefully, he'll be on his feet soon. His Browns will be starting training camp soon so he'll want to keep up with that. Just don't tell him they're thinkin' of signin' Michael Vick, lol.

Stopped into see Steve today. He is out of ICU and seemed to be in good spirits. They were talking about getting him up and moving so as to work towards him heading home. He is now in on the 5th floor in room 5B125A.

4-Ever...Just learned GAHS will host Meigs in a pre-season Jamboree game on Aug.21, at 7 p.m., on Memorial Field.

Everybody pays because it is a benefit game. I think the fee is $5 per person.

4-Ever said this morning they got him up and had him walking (four steps forward and four backward).

If he continues to improve, he may be able to come home Tuesday.

Just got off the phone with gahs4-ever. seems to be hurting still. I told him theres alot of people praying for him . I told him I was worried and had to call him . I hope it made him feel better. I kinda like that guy. But dont tell him Get better gahs .

I haven't been on in a while. I hate to see gahs4ever down. You're one of my favorite posters and have been since the beginning of this site. My thoughts and prayers are out to you. Talked with 4-Ever around 9:30 Wenesday evening. He's back home. Doctors told him to "walk,walk,walk and then walk on he can get better.

Said he was anxious to get back on his computer.

I got him a GAHS football and basketball schedule for 2009-10. Contacted Bill Wamsley at the new school this morning. What a palace that's gonna be. The AD's new office is really nice, along with the other facilities in Centenary. Still lots of work to be done before open house on Aug. 16.

Wamsley said the fall league meeting is next week at which time SEOAL passes will be distributed.
