Re: Week 7: Jackson (6-0) @ Ironton (4-2)
Does Ironton have to win this one or next week to get into the playoffs?
Re: Week 7: Jackson (6-0) @ Ironton (4-2)
Region 15 isn't very deep.....6-4 will get them in......7-3 with a win one of the next two weeks will put them well in.
Re: Week 7: Jackson (6-0) @ Ironton (4-2)
I agree but depends on who Ironton beats and the teams they beat keep winning.

Re: Week 7: Jackson (6-0) @ Ironton (4-2)
Ironton has two things going for them:
1) The game's at Tank (+14)
2) The intimidation factor (OMG it's Ironton).
The Ironmen are the better team and as long as they realize they are playing this year's Tigers and not ghosts of Tigers past, and don't pay any attention to the officiating, they should win handily.
Before any Tiger fans jump me about the officiating comment, I refer to the reputation of Tanks Memorial and the fact that teams often get psyched out the first time a call doesn't go their way and they ultimately unravel and blame the officiating. Rarely (if ever) has a game been decided by a few questionable calls. Usually one can look at errors committed by the losing team moreso than a call or two.

This should be one of the best games of the year. Jackson with 6 straight wins and Ironton with two losses coming from programs that most teams in seo wouldnt even think about playing, but if they did would probably be destroyed by. This game is going to come down to the last minute. May just go to this game instead of NY and Meigs game. I think Ironton will pull off the win this week. Goodluck Ironton.

Jackson is also on a 15 game regular season winning streak

The church lot located behind the band stand is very good and other than the University these are the only lots capable of holding the expected crowd........coming in on 93 from Jackson, turn left on 7th street and proceed approximtely a mile and a half to the high school and you will see the church on the left across the street from the high school. Turn left and the parking lot is behind the church.old*rocket wrote:where is a good place to park other then the parking lot behind the visitors side.

Jackson will need to shore up the penalties this week. Not gonna get any favors in the tank so we can't giv'em any more reasons to penalize us. From what I've seen this year from both teams the Ironmen are the better team but having said that you must always be on your best game in the tank.
Our DEFENSE rolls this week! :122246
Ironmen WIN :aaaaa26

Don't know much about Jackson... somebody say the last time Jackson won at the TANK was 1969? how many times have
they played??
Ironton schedule at this time proves to be much stronger.. I thought Tigers was big, good and physical..
Jackson.. Best win at this point is Wellston..
I'll get a look at a common team when we travel to Logan next week..
Logon put up 32 on Jackson and Logan schedule is just brutal this year!!
(Lancaster, Reynoldsburg, Pick North, )At least 5 playoff teams, could be 7 ...
Unless Jackson has something really special, i'm taking TIGERS @ THE TANK!! 24-14
