Best 9-10 Year Old Baseball Team...... Predictions??????
Re: District 11-Boys-Allstar- Best 9-10 yr old -prediction????
South Point should have a good team a lot of those boys got to pitch and hit this year against 11-12 year olds. At SP we have a 9-12 league and don''t have too many 11-12 year olds so the 9-10's get to play alot as well.

...so that would mean that the 9-10's played mostly against.........9-10's...
No that means that with the double headers we played ( Each team had three) that the 9-10's got a lot of experience pitching and playing the infield and also had to hit against some of the best pitchers in District 11 who are 11 and 12. If SP doesn't go very far with the 9-10's I will be shocked. Most the the teams would have 4 games in 5 or 6 days at least 2 or 3 times a year so they have gained valuable playing time agaisnt some really good talented older kids.

That kid hit 2 HR's for the Cyclones and was intentionally walked a couple of times. The kid is ONLY 9 years old.

Logan Wade is his name. He was on my team as a 6 year old in minor league. I taught him everything he knows! His dad really was a good athlete and has battled throat cancer recently. He willl probably be the best baseball player to come out of South Point in a long time! He was the number two pitcher on a 9-12 Little League team!
