would you like to bet this clown enough money for a lunch at the fabulous MuleTown Mini-Mart on that?
no? then maybe you should turn your phone off (your excuse for spelling, punctuation and sentence structure  ) like you promised half an hour ago.

Winkie,

I am something you use when you when you want to start a sentence correctly, of course you'd know nothing about that.

Sincerely,

chicken_poop (to quote Bo, see, i can name call, too. )

if you are talking about making a capital letter, uh, i don't think that is punctuation.
me thinks The Shift Key should quit while he is ahead.

I guess you need a cookie. I'm not going through other pages trying to find yours or Jescos posts on the 0-10 comment. I knew I had read it in a Jesco post, so I pointed that out.

And I'm glad that our big purple coach doesn't jump and up and down like a yard ape as Burg's did Friday night. See other people can can name call too.

This whole topic has turned into a joke. Really turns me off on the whole site when the game isn't being discussed. But I guess even that gets frowned upon here!

You know, I've actually seen him very excited at a Burg game before. I believe it was in 2003 when Burg was losing to Shennadoah in the playoffs. He really showed himself that night. Isn't that right Coop? :122246
I wasnt at that game, so how would I know? That is a he said/she said situation in my opinion and always will be. As far as the arrogance comments, what do you call it? Honestly? Valley can not win because they have they better team, it has to be because Burg is DOWN. So you tell me?

My apologies. Someone told me that you were with him and there is no he said/she said about it. He knows what he did as does about 1,000 Burg fans as we all watched him.

Why anyone say that Burg is down this year is jsut crazy. You don't go 7-1 being down. Burg is just young, but like I said that didn't seem to bother the 89 team. Those Sophomore's just like this years Freshman and Sophs that are playing have really bought into what there roles were and are executing them to a T. Burg will show up and be prepared to play this game just as Valley will.

It does seem that not many outside of Lucasville are giving the Indians a chance... Sounds good to me! I hope these kids stay focused and be the players they can be this Friday. I love the makeup of this team and I love that people are doubting them... They seem to feed off of these situations. At least they did against West when nobody gave them a shot. This team is on a mission and have a few goals of their own!
oh, my. the downtrodden little indians. you're beginning to sound like coop trying to build a climactic reason for unbridled celebration.

Oh no, I was not at that ballgame. I agree that you dont go 7-1 and consider yourself down? I mean being young, and being down are two different things, but if you read back a bit before piss started flying you'll find a few posts talking about Burg being down, and etc. Guess we will see on friday night.

Yeah, I saw that and that is just from fans who don't have a clue. I know alot of people predicted this Burg team to go anywhere from 3-7 to at best 6-4, so to be 7-1 is a huge shout out to the Burg coaches and how prepared they have gotten the team each week.

now THAT, coop, is what you call punctuation. although it is inappropriately placed, it IS punctuation nonetheless.

Agreed! Young is the correct word for this team, not down or rebuilding.

Mr Wink
I wasn't trying to play that card but if you look at the West thread, the pickems from that week, and the comments on this topic, most outsiders have been picking the Pirates. Just stating what I've read. Sorry to say something you didn't agree with.

this is not your typical burg team. the coaches and kids have done a great job. They have benefited from playing a very weak schedule thus far. In my oppinion Valley will be the 2nd good football team they have played all yr and the other one handled them pretty easy. Very little depth, just about everyone goes both ways and it showed in the second half of the minford game, the kids were getting tired, outside of sheers very little speed. Sheers will have to turn in a shank type performance for the burg to keep the games close the next 2 weeks. I will be interested to see how the valley kids and coaches react if burg comes up with a big momentum changing type play early in the game.

I agree with your post very much. I think one of the things I was most impressed with during Valley's win over West was the way the Indians answered both offensively and defensively after the Senators capitalized on a pair of Valley fumbles to open the second half which tied the game. Obviously, the Indians haven't answered the challenge in previous match-ups with Wheelersburg following big momentum swing plays by the Pirates. I seriously doubt this Wheelersburg team will back down, and the Indians are going to have to match that same level of play for four quarters.

Speaking of history (as referenced somewhere earlier in this thread), wink appears to really enjoy this topic. The following is his history posting on this site. As you can see, 20% of his total posts have been on this thread alone. And, he/she mentioned me thinking a lot of myself in an earlier post. Well, while I don't, I have to admit that with all of this flattering attention (since a lot of his/her posts have been directed at me personally), it's tough not to get a little full of myself. Thanks for all the attention boss :122246

99% of my posts directed at you were in response to posts you had directed at me.

in fact, for example, this post of yours was entirely unprovoked.... so who is following who around here?

Actually, you're wrong, again. Go back to page 5 and notice where I stopped posting for quite some time, yet you still included me in your post(s). In fact, I had gone as far as to make it known that I had no hard feelings in my last post on that page. Unfortunately, you had to try and twist even that harmless comment. You act worse than my children when they are trying to act as if they didn't do something when they are in trouble. It's kind of funny.

It's kind of like what goes through my mind on certain calls I get as a paramedic..."I didn't call you. You called me." That last part is in reference to the FACT that you initiated all of this silliness. I can only assume you are pleased that you've managed to take this thread far away from the game itself which was what I originally expressed an interest in talking about.

didn't think i'd take the trouble did you?
other than responding one time to your referenced "no hard feelings" post i'd like for you to show me ONE of my posts where i included you..... up until the time when you started posting again. so, you are even making up fibs to keep me drawn into the conversation.
and yes, you were gone for about 3 hours (in which AT NO TIME did I mention you) and yet, in your second post back you made a post that included NOTHING but ME, pasting my profile information, yet you say that I'M the one taking this away from football.
to use your quote: "You called me, I didn't call you".

at least i'm not so obsessed as to check out your profile like you did mine.

(and don't even PRETEND that you can't still rave about your indians because of me).

Trust me, losing to Valley once in 47 years won't do a thing to the pride and tradition at Wheelersburg. We will be just fine. If Valley doesn't get us this year it may be while with all the talent coming up through the lower grades. The Burg will be loaded for the next few years. Mark that down.

And just for the record, I'm pretty sure that wink is a Minford person and not from the Burg. I may be wrong, but I'd be shocked if he wasn't from Minford.

Notice my second post was a response to you...that should indicate to you that my first choice was to discuss the game. I also wrote, "post(s)", because I couldn't recall if it was a single post or more than one. Either was sufficient to qualify my point. I have assumed all along that you were a middle-aged adult, yet you act more and more like a child. I hope these posts are as entertaining for you as they are for me. They certainly aren't my first choice of things I'd like to discuss, but they are entertaining none the less.

I think the funniest thing is that this has gone on so long, it's lost it's relevance far more than any of the actual game talk that you felt had become overused. I hope you enjoy the rest of the discussion on this topic. I don't know if I'll keep it up or not. But, it's been fun while it's lasted if I don't. By the way, best of luck to your Falcons this week. I'll be pulling for them myself. Oh, and before I forget, I believe in giving credit where credit is due. You are definitely the one that stated Wheelersburg finished 0-10 in 1964. I read earlier where someone thought that I stated that. Anyway, take care.

i assume you are talking about your second post after returning at 11:something PM and if so, your 1st choice must not have been too important or you are a very impatient person because it was exactly THREE MINUTES between your 1st and 2nd post... probably about the time it took to type your second post. so, tell me again how important this football blather is to you.

now.... now that another myth that you created is cleared up, show me ONE post I made after your "no hard feelings" post that included you.... except the ONE where I responded to your "hard feelings" post.
i'm about to put you in the same category with your buddy Bo as a false accusation maker. i thought you were above that.... but who knows what evils lurk.

Speaking of that... Valley and Burg square off Thursday for the "Jr High SOC Title"... Both teams are undefeated in league play. I'm not sure if Burg's 8th grade has lost or not. The 7th grade plays Tuesday, but that one could be a little rough. Thursday could be a fun one to walk across the street and watch if you're not stuck at work. :)
