What's up with these t-shirts I just saw that say Valley is going to teach the Burg a lesson? I mean come on, even if Valley does win, once in 47 years is going to teach us a lesson.
I guess the lesson could be if you fight with your big brother enough times you might finally get in one good punch.

Who knows what that means... The people that normally make these shirts aren't exactly close to the games. I think most of them are goofy... Oh well, some people must enjoy them!Burg_Grad_77 wrote:What's up with these t-shirts I just saw that say Valley is going to teach the Burg a lesson? I personally don't care if its a lesson, one good punch or a blind squirrel finding a nut... Just as long as Valley has more points at the end of the night. 8)

If Burg's field is muddy, I think that gives that much more of an edge to Valley with their power style running back. Quick feet tend to slide in the mud. Seeing Burg's line, they are quick but wont get much leverage against Valley's front line.

I agree. Valley by 30.... at least.Bleeding Red wrote:If Burg's field is muddy, I think that gives that much more of an edge to Valley with their power style running back. Quick feet tend to slide in the mud. Seeing Burg's line, they are quick but wont get much leverage against Valley's front line.
They will be on Burg like gravy on mashed potatoes.

Valley might be better on paper but that don't matter on the field. There is no way that valley will win by at least 30 points. The burg will not just role over play dead and head the trophy to valley. They will have to earn it. This will be a very hard fought game.wink wrote:I agree. That's odd. I don't ever remember them pulling such stunts even when they played REAL teams with REAL programs like Ironton or Minford. hmmmmmSOCMAN05 wrote:This shirt aint nothing but a Lame Duck motovational tool someone from Burg has created, You know how West had the Locker Room destruction !

Valley is a powerhouse this year but they will get trimmed down a little next week.

Agreed! Like white on rice! Seen them both play, wasn't super impressed with Burg. Will be amazed if they keep this game close or even pull out a win. More unusual things have happened though. I think the big uglies up front for Valley completely dominate and control the momentum from start to finish.

We heard the same song and dance from West ...!!!!Mad_Dogg wrote:Valley might be better on paper but that don't matter on the field. There is no way that valley will win by at least 30 points. Re: Week 9 (8-0) Lucasville Valley @ (7-1) Wheelersburg
Burg has 2 playmakers on offense, Shears and Miller. Shears will only hurt you scrambling and running around the end if there is no containment or big-time holding on the DE's. There wont be much for him up the middle.
I have been told, that Valley may see Miller at QB and Shears at RB. Although I dont think it will matter if Valley contains the edge and wins up front.
Valley is the most fundamental tackling team Burg will have seen this year. A 5-10 yard Burg run here and there isnt going to effect them, they just have to limit the 30-40 yd scrambles. I would believe that Valley will have a spy on Shears and there wont be much happening when he tries to scramble.

Keller will run 8 of Valley's first ten plays in the mud and the ninth will be a little swing pass out to him to get him out in the open.

Are you saying minford is going to do something with Valley next week ?wink wrote:Yes it will be a hard fought gamel..... and Valley will win it by at least 30.Mad_Dogg wrote:

Re: Week 9 (8-0) Lucasville Valley @ (7-1) Wheelersburg
My freind if VALLEY is setting at 9-0 next week and minford is standing in the way of a 10-0 season and soc champs and a home playoff spot. You are sadly mistaken VALLEY will roll over minford in this game it will be very ugly. They will treat minford like a baby does a diaper...!!!!
Thats just stupid thinkng otherwise...!!!!!
