Warren won't blow Belpre out.

14 point spread.

Big Blue wins, 27-13.

Eaglepapaw: At this point it's beyond ridiculous. Sorry to hear about RaShawn. He's a great kid. Here's hoping that he's up and around soon. Warren wants to win, but not by default.

I hope we can get through the rest of the week without any more injuries on either team.

Tell RaShawn that the Ellenwoods wish him a speedy recovery.

What a blow for the Eagles! Lets hope it's not too serious, and that he can return soon.

Thanks a lot I'll be sure to tell him. The trainer doesn't seem to think that it is too serious,he is still icing it ,it is a little swollen.Hopefully when the swelling goes down we will know more. Of course he says he will be ready to play Friday but I'm not so sure.

Man, talk about the walking wounded. :(

Hopefully, all the boys can get back to good health as soon as possible. I know they want to but I don't want to see anyone risk further injury and come back to soon and play the whole season hurt. Football is a rough sport and once the hitting starts you are pretty much sore the entire season.

Wishing a speedy recovery to the boys in orange and black.

LETS GO EAGLES!!!

Wish I could be there to see this game. It is usually a nip tuck affair.

Here's hoping for a Warrior victory.

Warren will simply wear down a short-handed Belpre squad.

Well, the first game is finally only a day away. Warren is healthy, no significant injuries, and they are prepared. Unfortunately, Belpre is beat-up and will be missing some key players due to ineligibility. If both teams were at full strength this would be a good game, but I would still have given the edge to Warren. Warren's off-season was the best they have had since I have been an observer. Their practices and scrimmages have been very solid. The addition of Kevin Welsh to the staff has enhanced the team in a variety of ways. Truth be told, there are no negatives at Warren going into the season. The program still needs to improve, but this team is really maximizing its potential. If they execute like they did in the scrimmages, Belpre will be hard pressed to keep pace.

I have to pick Warren by at least 3 TDs.

Nonetheless, good luck to both teams.

RaShawn's injury turned out to be not as serious as first thought and there is a chance he will play some tomorrow night. He is walking without crutches and most of the swelling has gone down. They will check it out tomorrow and he will have a brace to wear if he plays.

I look for this to be a big win for Warren. However, the warriors need to be careful and not look past Belpre. You can never count out an underdog, and that is why they play the game. Go Warriors!!

Alot of good news coming from Warren an bad news for Belpre with injuries an ineligiblity, I still look for this to be a close game as it always has been, I hope for a Belpre win but with the injuries I just dont see them winning, a much better game if Belpre had everyone healthy an eligible.

Warren 10
Belpre 7 at the half

Warren 24
Belpre 13 at the end

Prove me wrong Eagles an bring the home crowd a W to kick off the season.

I am beggin for some play-action on 1st or 2nd downs out of the team in white............. thats Warren right??????

Maybe even a fade or 6 to that really big kid for Warren...

Go Blue!!!

look for the linebacking corp to dominate for the Warriors!!! They have taken their lumps, now very experienced and ready to give some!!!
