O_town_ANIMAL: I have quite a few friends who are from or work at Oak Hill, and for their sake, please work on that grammar. This isn't a text message, take the time to write out words, because people will jump all over you if your posts keep looking like the last one.

By the way the one week I absolutely can't make it to a game is the week 4 Trimble/Oak Hill which was something I have been looking forward to since it was first put on the schedule, I'll get a copy of the film.

Week One Nelsonville-York at Trimble, I should be there and am hoping for the hard-hitting slug fest like it always is. Arnold versus Dyla should be a shoot-out at Glouster Memorial Stadium.

Oak Hill play someone then get on here and talk trash. You would be lucky to win 6 games every year if you were in the TVC Hocking! Improved yes, but a long way to go. When was the last time you played NY and what was the score?

I know it's a different time, but in 1996 season (Class of 97) and 5-4 Buckeye team beat Oak Hill 41-0 @ Oak Hill. NY had only 3 seniors that game (Eric Mitchell was injured). I think that is correct any one else have more info?

The last time Oak Hill played N-Y as far as I Know was 97' or 98'. I know they beat the second to last year they played them, then they rocked us the last year we played Nelsonville...In was in the 40's to 0.

The Buckeyes and Oaks have played twice, each winning one game.....

1995 Oak Hill (H) 21-20
1996 Nelsonville-York (A) 46-0

Wow I don't remember the 1995 game at all. They were able to beat McLaughlin and company? That's a good accomplishment in my book.

Here is a random piece of trivia....when the TVC split into two divisions in '93, the Ohio Division had an odd number of teams (like it does right now) because Alexander was in the Hocking Division the first four years of divisional play. This meant that each Ohio team played one non-league game after league play had already begun. For NY, the nonleague game was the Week 10 game each of those four seasons. The Oak Hill game was the Week 10 game in the last two of those years. In 1993, it was Magnolia, WV and in 1994, it was Jackson.

Dont Worry Buckeyeguy the Cats will show up. I am sure Coach Faires and the boys will not only show up but be waiting with a bad taste in their mouth after last year. Just like the Bucks did last year after they lost at Glouster Memorial 7-6.
The Cats have won the last 2 at home in this rivalry and will be looking to do the same this year. Arnold is a beast and the cats must contain him to win this game. Notice I said contain him because no one will stop him this year but the Bucks did lose alot to graduation. How many seniors did they have last year?
