River needs to hope Caldwell knocks of unbeaten Barnesville this week, which is possible as they struggled with meadowbrook. Caldwell at 6-4 (assuming they will lose to wheeling central) would give them a good chance at sneaking in around the 7 or 8 spots. They would also likely drag River in with them if the Pilots beat Rosecrans and finish with 6 or 7 wins. Rosecrans is not that good, they are going to lose the majority of the rest of their games being in the ECOL. The only league game that they can win was Meadowbrook, rest will be losses. The sad thing is Beallsville will get in with their cupcake schedule (will finish 8-2) and get beat on in round one. Overall this region may be the weakest in the state this year.

With only three Catholic/Private school on this list I am guessing those type schools will be firing their head recruiter, so that this does not happn again.

Funny you never see the R-Word when Catholic/Private schools are struggling.

The OHSAA has SG at 4 and Symmes Valley at 5 and Joe Eitel has them switched around.

I thin FCA may still make some noise in this region. They have some big points games remaining in shadyside and youngstown christian.

This is just my opinion so blast me if you want but the Fairfield christian I seen last saturday at Notre Dame will not beat either of those 2 and make no noise!

eitel has Symmes and SG's level 2 divisors flipped b/c SG plays a WV school in Wahama, who plays their 10th game after Ohio's week 10, so they do not count Wahama's 10th game for or against us; therefore our divisor is 99.

They also have Trimble's divisor as 89, which I think would be correct if they were not going to make up the Coal Grove game, but they have it rescheduled, so I htink their divisor would be 99 as they played Wahama.

SV divisor is correct boogerred. They played Manchester. One of Manchester's games isn't counted in the OHSAA computer rankings.

I agree with you sv viking the FCA team you saw against notre dame last week was awful. But the team you havent seen can play with most any d6 team in the state. Still alot of football left

Was wondering if you could do some projections for Caldwell. Where do they finish at if they finish the season 7-3 or 6-4?

I want to agree, but there are 2 games that could go either way,Wahama and Symmes Valley.
They must win one of these 2 I am rooting for themto win both. If tthey win both i think they could be neutral site home game, perhaps Oak Hill.

I would think Symmes Valley would be ahead of SG they should get a lot of points for playing River Valley and Northwest they lost to bigger Peake team. SG has only played div 6 & 5 teams

SG is reaping the benefits of beating the #1 team in the region week 1. That is the difference between SG and SV. The Rebels will pick up a decent amount of points if they beat a 2 win D-V Fed Hock this Friday night and get a win against Belpre the next week. And then SG will have a chance at picking up bookoo points the last three weeks of the year against Wahama, Waterford, and SV.
