Yep, and now we have the Hines Ward rule. It's all because Hines, "legally" (for all you bungal fans), knocked Rivers teeth, to the stadium parking lot.[/quote]
it was a cheap shot

It was a great block, nothing more, nothing less. . . Hines Ward is a HOF player, no doubt about it.

Rivers said nothing about the hit. He just said what goes around comes around. Should be an interesting game.

the bungals said the same thing when palmer got hurt. what happened in the rematch? nothing. they were all talk. you're not gonna out-tough the steelers. ward is a gamer plain and simple.

I guess you missed your team mates helping your def back polu up and helping him off the field after benson sent his brain to another country. He had to set out after that hit. There was one more hit too that knocked out another player. I dont think that happened with talk.

Rivers has not played since he got hurt , so I dont think he had anytime to back his words. That could be why nothing has happened.

Did you miss the final score of that game and the final score of the Super Bowl?
I'm sure Polumalu would have gladly traded getting his bell rung once for his super bowl ring.

That is true. But i believe the point was that the bengals did nothing but talk. And still rivers has not played them since being hurt.

It was a very good hit and 5 years ago it wouldn't have been a fine. Unfortunately, people want to make the game even less contact than it already is. The way I see it, you've got a helmet and pads for a reason. Don't like it? Do everyone a favor and don't play.
Welker is a tough guy. . . if it had been Brady, he'd be dead. 8)

Have you ever actually played the game of football other than maybe @ the Pee Wee level?
