Awesome job of coming back with 8 runs in the 7th. With 2 outs a kid from Hiland hits a 2 run homer in the bottom of the 7th. Play tommorrow at 5:30 I believe against either Elyria NW or Miami. Everyone is available to pitch except for Wayne. Hiland's pitcher threw 90 pitches

who was the starting pitcher for ironton? the score was just 3 to 1 in the third, why the change of pitchers so early?

Easy question. Wayne is now available tomorrow. With the pitch count in effect, there are other things to manage. Ironton obviously has plenty of arms and after seeing what happened after Hiland's pitcher came out, they may not. Hiland's pitcher that threw yesterday is now done for the tournament unless they get rain. We need to take care of business today and get back to Hiland. Besides, J. Williams pitched pretty good and T. Riley was probably the victim of some not so great fielding. Time to suck it up and go after it today.

Ironton v. Miami, start time is 5:30. Ironton lost the flip and will bat first.

Sparks doubles to lead off, T. Riley with a single and t. Wag triples to score 2. TJ Young hits a sac fly to score T. Wag. TJ went in to pitch in the 3rd. Ironton 3 Miami 1.

We threatened but no runs in the 5th. J. Williams doubles with 1 out, J. Murphy walks and we stranded them there. Still Ironton 3 Miami 1.
