As I stated before alot of talent on both these teams, may the fans be entertained and noone get hurt and possibly jeopardize their season.

Hey, as I said before, we are gonna be shooting photos at the game tomorrow. Wondering if there are certain numbers to look for in the Ironton bunch? I think I know the list of Grovers... haha
Re: ironton jamboree game
I'll be there. Should be a lot of fun. What time will people start arriving, 4? 5, maybe?
Can't wait to see how the Grove's offense looks!

Hope the boys on both sides have been drinking a lot of water today, going to be some cramps tonight.

I know Logan's practice Uni's don't have numbers.
A lot of teams that DO wear numbers don't have kids in their regular numbers, which makes scrimmages hard to cover from a media perspective.

Ironton wears practice jerseys which do not have their regular numbers on them.

There has to be numbers on the jersey's, the jamboree games are played until normal rules and under ohsaa rules jerseys have to have numbers for games.

2 min left til half.....21-0 Ironton. Right now, teams look even but Ironton has the "want" more than CG

Coming from a fan of both programs, who got stuck working tonight, 21 - 0 at the half doesn't sound even in the least.

No, both teams looked really good, Coal Grove needs to work on the passing game, if you are going to go four or five wide, your quarterback has to be able to get rid of the ball or know to run with it. The running game to me looks like it is already in midseason form, for the Grove it is the passing game only that is the problem, we cannot pass block and our quarterback threw all balls either behind receivers or over their heads, he did have a few good passes but our boys dropped them. As for our defense the only problem and it is a huge problem is when it comes to the option and misdirection our defense goes dumb, why our DE pinch down like they do and leave the outside open is beyond me.
As for Ironton, to be truthful I wasn't impressed at all, I thought their running game was weak(they did have one long run that might have gone if we didn't have speed in our secondary). Their passing game was just as weak our the Grove's in my opinion but with this only being preseason that could be the excuse, but the season is right around the corner so both teams need to get that part of the offense under control. Ironton's defense was okay but I do believe Delawder caught them off guard a few times with how hard he runs, but overall both teams should have good years but they both have a lot to work on.

Sounds like a butt whipping to me. IMO the hornets have better athletes but the tigers have a better line and are more disciplined. The tigers are big but lack speed.
