Both teams had ample chances to score. Each goalkeeper came up with some bigs saves to keep it close. The Point keeper, Trenton Bailes, is just a freshman and made his first-ever start against GAHS. I thought he played really well considering his lack of experience.
Allie was Allie. Another stellar job.
GAHS players got a bit testy with each other after falling behind. The PK by Zeke Maher was huge for the Blue Devils. It helped them settle down and get their heads back on straight. For me that was the turning point in the game for GAHS.
Still, with Point only having 12 players on the roster, GAHS should have put that game away a lot sooner. Great job by Point.

Marietta tied Jackson tonight 2-2. Marietta controlled most of the game and outshot them. The first goal by Jackson was taken from a ways out and the Marietta goalie didn't go after it because he thought it was going over, but it curved in at the last minute.
