I just checked ohsaa.org and it looks like they changed the SE Girls DII North & South sectionals.( Correct me if I'm wrong.)

North is now Adena (who doesn't have soccer, right?), Alexander, Circleville, Fairfield Union, Unioto, Washington Court House, Zane Trace, and McClain (Greenfield).

South is now Eastern Sardinia, Fairfield (Leesburg), Lynchburg-Clay, Minford, North Adams, Peebles, West Union, and South Point.

It appears the decision to allow the co-ed South Point team to split for the tournament has brought about this change. I see where South Point was moved into the South, moving Greenfield McClain to the North. You are correct as far as I know that Frankfort Adena did not field a team this season.

The sad thing about this whole SP situation is that if SP were to have fielded an all girls team all season they would not have been the last seed. ( they have at least 4 or 5 girls that start for the boys team)They would have won some games I bet they could have beaten some of the lower seeds. But that really doesn't matter now so go out and do the best you can. Next year hopefully this will allow them to compete at both sports all year.

Crazy game, two girls, one from each team squared off and rolled around on the ground for a double red. Then Warren's Coach took his complaint too far and got a red and ejection. Which I'm not sure if that eliminated him from coaching the boy's game that was too follow after girls contest?

I have often wondered how this is handled.

Under the OHSAA rules for soccer section 3 is the following...

3.2) Coaches

...any soccer coach ejected with a red card (NF Rule 12-8-3) or a red/yellow card (NF Rule 12-8-2 (a)), shall be ineligible for all contests for the remainder of that day. In addition, the coach shall be ineligible for all contests at all levels in soccer until two regular season/tournament contests are played at the same level as the ejection..."

There may be other penalties under Section 11 of the OHSAA General Sports Regulations that come into play.
