I would like to see that game to!!!!!!!!

ONN should come up with something like ESPN 360, that way fans could go online and have a large amount of games to watch.

Thanks Orange and Brown.

I know the Logan community is excited about the opportunity. There are a ton of great week one games, that's for sure.

Good Luck to the Buckeyes all season, hopefully they make a deep playoff run in '09!

I understand why ONN chose Logan/Lancaster.
They really dont focus to much on southeastern ohio.
You may catch a article here and there on that other website.

L vs L is a BIG time game, but so is BURG & IRONTON!
I really wish SE OH could get some love for the hard work these boys give
week after week, in marquee games!

I think the biggest game of week 1 is on STO at 11pm Saturday night.......Cleveland St.Ignatius vs. Cleveland Glenville.......the winner of that game could eventually be the D1 state champion.

Last year, Ignatius squeaked out an 8-7 win over the Tarblooders in the playoffs and then went on to win their 10th state title.

Good to see Logan and Lancaster get some TV time.........it should be a good game, with the Chieftains trying to make it 2 in a row over the Golden Gales. Good luck Logan!!

Ironton and Wheelersburg should be a fantastic game at the Tank.........definitely one of Ohio's top games in week 1.

I think ONN choosing the Chieftain game only further validates who the Big Dog in SE Ohio is. If this had been back in the 1900's Ironton may have been selected, however decisions are not made on history, they are made on teams that have good programs now.

I remember back in 1982 ONN selected Ironton at Logan....they switched to the Philo vs. New Lexington game at halftime, because ironton was up 42-0.

In all seriousness, Good Luck to Logan. here's hoping they represent the SEOAL well.

85,

Thank you so much for proving what I have always said.
1. Ironton has a proud history.
2. Ironton used to have a great program.
3. Ironton used to take on all comers.
4. Ironton when they were successful in the 1900's did not whine about size.

Yes things change. Logan is now the top dog. Sit back Friday night and enjoy some good high school football.
