Re: Hey coaches?
during baseball season I had a parent pull her son off my team because I had him playing 2nd base and she wanted him to play 3rd!!!!! She took him to anither league and they stuck him in the outfield when she complained that all he played was outfeild they moved him in to 2nd!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a shame she was like that cause he was a good little ball player.

That parent should thank her lucky stars that her son was on a team that was coaching her son instead of ignoring him... We all should be so lucky... I would've settled for at least a little coaching.... OOO... did I say that out loud... sorry....

Every boy on our team got to play in our preview and real game. How many teams can say that? Also, this boy in question starts on both sides of the ball! Still not happy!

There is really nothing you can do. Just keep playing him where you think he will be successful and hope his parents leave it go.

That is awesome...
So many at this level only plays certain kids for the entire game... And that even extends over to the practices...Only coaching some and ignoring others... So sad, especially when there is a boy that really wants to play ball, but needs a bit extra coaching and the coaches don't work with him, kids pick up on stuff like this and it is very discouraging to them and it empowers the others... This is little league not the pros...
You must have a great program that allows all of your boys an opportunity to play....

Re: Hey coaches?
I know that the NY little Bucks all get to play and they all get the same level of coaching.

In the game out of 18, 14 are starters and we put the others in at somepoint for some plays. In blowouts they get more. If these dads can do better step up. The boys will plyn where they are physically and MENTALLY best suited for them and the team. Not so family can cheer when they run the ball. You oblivosly can tell dads who played and those who didnt. Team concept in fb, best sport in the world for young men.Period.Thanks. I make the boys follow rules and they get punished for breaking them. That is the problem with society, no discipline! When I say that, I am a very likeable, caring guy, but I will put my foot down for what is right.
You keep up the good work with those young men!!!!!!!!!
Some day they will thank you for it!
