Big schools have a slight advantage. I'm guessing prob 500 or so more boys at HB vs Fairland. Donald HB enrollment is YUGE !!

Looking at these numbers it is so apparent OHSAA needs to take a hard look at and do something
about schools having to compete in tourney. IMO, the divisions are so huge that schools such as Fairland, and other
schools with similar situation, are finding it harder to compete on a regular basis after district and
most certainly regions.
Fairland will get to Columbus, IMO, and do okay.
Good Luck to all teams below the Lancaster-Pfloyd line.

hey tri state what is ironton's record overall. I assume what I'm seeing here is just league play. I don't live there anymore and everytime I try to get on the ironton tribune on line my computer vapor locks. sweet they beat the peake.

South Point beats Ironton 57-51 at South Point even though the 3 refs were missing a lot of Irontons fouls... SP had 2 starters foul out, 2 starters with 4, and the last starter with 3.... One Ironton player in particular should have fouled out but the refs seemed to not see him kicking , tripping and shoving the SP players the entire game.... He actually kicked one kid when he was on the floor and the entire SP stands erupted but not one refs sees this .....Terribly called game.......This player would not shake hands at the end of the game......Ironton had 1 kid foul out at the end and made the fouls seem more even by having to foul at the end of the game a little........

I hope the ironton player can make a full recovery.

I hated to see this kid get hurt so bad.....He hadn't been back long from an injury last year....He's a good kid and a good basketball player.... I hated to hear about the Fairland kid getting injured.....He's a good ball player and a good kid also...Glad to hear Van Horn will make it back for playoffs....I think Fairland could very well make a deep deep run in the playoffs
